Well, a very nice member on ECF had sent me powder coating for a Custom Saber Touch.
I loved it so much, I asked if we could offer that color on our site. So, I ordered many pounds of it,
And here it is...

I just checked USPS tracking, and Soup Saber #2 is in Scarborough already, which means I should have both of them in my greedy little hands by tomorrow. (And yep - I fully expect Ace to give me a hard time about that "both" business.)

Sadly, I haven't even been able to try Soup #1 because my large sized batteries haven't arrived . . . agghh. The suspense is killing me here!

The Midi size is absolutely perfect!!

You are an absolute genius, Sir.

And I'd be more than happy to post pictures - I'll put them in the showcase thread right now - but you are soooooo right: this color is really, really, really difficult to photograph. I'm snowed in today, and have spent the last half hour trying to capture the sheer fabulousness of this awesome greenish/goldish color, but I'm just not having any luck. Either it comes out looking dark and dull (which it certainly isn't) or else it looks way too bright . . . gggrr.

This is probably the best close-up I've got so far (if you click to enlarge you can sort of see the beautiful granite-like speckles) but it still doesn't do it justice:



I might just have to wait for a sunny day.

So glad you got it! And yes... that's the best Green color that I've seen. It really does look like Moss!
