My silver bullet just arrived at my house! Now I just have to be patient until I'm off work! I ordered the 18650s and charger from altsmoke. Any tips on proper charging? Safe to leave on the charger when I leave the house for a few hours? Super excited. I'll post first impressions when I get home and fire it up.

Congrats! I've had mine for about 3 weeks now and all I've done with my Egos is use them to pull cartomizers out of a tank.

Any charger should be safe to leave unattended. That said, I always keep an eye on new ones for a few cycles.

The warning label says "never leave the charger unattended, Gawd I hate warning labels.

Erich, I am in the same boat. My ego batteries have been relegated to carto removal. I believe we have the same setup! SB with liquinator, complete with black and white swirl tip!

I'm a huge fan of the LiFePO4 RCR 123 (needs a different charger) with Boge SR cartos. Maybe it's just my particular juice choice, but I can't fathom how people prefer 18650's, even with LR.

And yeah, the warning labels... "Don't say we didn't warn you"... still, in general, they're supposed to be designed *not* to catch fire when used as directed.
