My wife and I are new to vaping. We use the Blue starter kit. I use the menthol while the wife uses the cherry. We both like the size but are having issues with the batteries. They seem to only last for about 1 to 2 hours with moderate use. We are looking for any suggestions as to products that are roughly the same size but have a longer battery life. Thank you.

That's the thing about batteries, there really isn't any magic way of fitting more power and life into a smaller size. Battery tech, while it has improved, is still improving at a very slow, incremental amounts.

I started with a Prosmoke M40x series device which I believe is similar in size to what you have. Between noticing that only the few handful of vapes were good before battery level started to dip and the very small cart size meaning I had to refill all of the time caused me to upgrade to a larger device quickly. However as I've experienced, even with a lot of research beforehand, it is inherently more difficult to set up and get the results you want due to the complexity. I do believe in the end it will be worth it.

If you want a mini style e cig with better battery life, check out the volt from smokeless image. The battery lasts 2-3times longer than the blu. The 78mm battery actually has 3x the mah of the blu battery. The cartos also last longer, can be refilled several times and don't burn as easy. They are also reasonably priced and much cheaper than the blu kit. The kit that would be similar to the blu premium 100 is $65 and there is a 15% off coupon which brings it to $55. They also have great customer service with fast shipping.

Here is a video about the smokeless image volt.

They also have an ego style battery which will use all the cartos and clearo from the small batteries. That allows you to use both. Here is a video on that.

I'm new to this too and I started with a Cig2O style with cartomizers because it was so much like a real looking cig. I had the same problem with batteries so I bought a few extra batteries (320mah was the highest I could find) and kept chargers in my car and at the house - this got old quick. The price of the cartomizers was unreal until I found out you can refill them and save money just buying Ejuice to refill them myself. My next step was an Ego C starter kit w/1000mah batteries and it comes with 2 complete Ecigs...Wow what a difference. All day vaping, easy to fill tanks, and cheap replacement heads but the flavor was still lacking. Yes they are huge compared to a Blu but I wasn't limited to how far I was from a battery charger and after using them at the house for awhile they became second nature. Since I like to play with my toyz I finally wound up with a Ego twist battery and few different brand rebuildable tank cartomizers...easy to replace the coils/heads, great flavor, and easy to clean/fill. The Ego would be a solid stepping stone because they are everywhere and there are a lot of products out there made for this style battery. Its just my choice but I would have saved alot of time and money starting with the Ego. Hope this helps and welcome to the vaping world - from another nubie.

I had exactly the same issue, I started with a blu stater kit from my local Walgreens and was hooked, but after my first week or so of use. I noticed that the battery would die quickly or it must have been my vaping style, I was charging the little blu so much I would have one batt on the USB charge and the other batt in the PCC that came with the stater kit. I did some research which I should have done in the first place and learned that the little blu batts are only 88 mah. I checked out the Joye 510 kits cuz' I loved the idea of the PCC but when I checked those out, they turned out to be only 150 mah for the manual batt and 220 mah for the auto batt. So that meant the Joye 510 kit batts would last twice as long or a little more than my blu. Also I was charging my blu batts 5-7 times a day. With all this said I really like the idea of the tanks and clearomizers out there, did ALOT more reading on here. With me finally settling on a Joyetech Ego-c Passthrough with a vision clearo on it, and let me tell u I fell in love. No more charging all the time now I only have to charge my batts one every other day now. And I opted for the Passthrough because I liked the idea of being able to vape while my batt is charging. That's my two cents and I hope this helps, if I would have done some research before I could have saved $60 on the blu kit that is sitting in my closet rotting away lol and would have been able to use that on my next investment, An Ego-C Twist with a charger.

Definitely a learning curve with this stuff. And if you think you're done spending money on it, think again. LOL

Oddly enough, I still have the original KR808 batteries and matching clearos that I used at first 6 months ago, and they still work a treat with what I use them for.

All the intense research you can throw at vaping will not unearth your pleasures until you actually try it. There is some neat stuff out there. I just picked up a rebuildable atomizer recently, and I'm finding it hard to go back to the tank systems I have that I thought were the end all as far as what I was looking for.
