No need to thank me, any of you. I'm just glad you read it and if it makes sense, then you'll tell other vapers. These are Zen's words, not mine, but I do happen to agree.

Yes, Nate (get some sleep!), the Kick is definitely an added layer of protection. I'm also VERY interested in the new "2 cents" fuse thingies that will be out in a couple of weeks, and that is safety for around 10 bucks. THAT sounds very doable for all vapers with APVs (not sure I like that designation yet, but trying it out for size, LOL). And you, my dear one, of all people, you are not one I would worry about. You are a student of the Universe and you don't just jump on bandwagons because they are 'cute'. I know you well enuf, Nate. :)

Hugs to all my SoCal buds. Once again, especially my Sea...

Good Morning all :D Jet leg really sucks .... something fierce, I actually woke up the first time at like 4 am, which is around 6 am Panama City time, so of course wanting to reset my internal clock I forced myself back to sleep until about 630 :D

Happy Easter All :D Yeah I got a good amount of sleep last night for sure, Got a lot of running around to do today but first things first and that is to set out the Easter Baskets and then get my .... out in the garage to do my workout :D I refuse to let myself backslide into chubbyness again :D

Kat I watched that Video from Slinger and I like that idea a lot, any layer of added protection for mods is definitely a good thing. Even though these batteries can violently Vent for reasons other than a short, at least this takes that particular event out of the equation as long as it works.

Hope everyone has a great Easter Sunday :D

I'm doing the crazy electronic here....
I do not agree with part of Zen's post.
A load is a load, no matter if it's one or two or three resistors (name it coils if you like) in parallel.
1,5 ohm at 3,7 Volts are ALWAYS 2,47A current = 9,13 Watts.

Whatever you do you must do it "cum grano salis (idiomatic) With a grain of salt; with a bit of common sense and skepticism."
Now, if you buy 10 no brand unprotected batteries at the price of 2, put a magnet because they do no fit right, or you stack them on a mechanical mod, not being sure they have same spec. and same charge, well dude, it's your problem and not a DCC fault.
Just my 2 cents.

I agree Wholeheartedly ..... :D The old adage "You Get What You Pay For" applies. Yes I may spend over 20 bucks for 2 18650 batteries whereas someone else may get 6 18650 batteries for that very same price. The end game however is when those batteries expend a different amperage in tandem and they become unstable and explode due to the differences in current being applied :D Oops, the two that I have charged together at the same time, deliver the same current in tandem and therefore are equally sharing the loaded current therefore they tend not to explode rendering me dilapidated and/or otherwise maimed or severely injured.

LOL Sorry had to get about %5.50 in ten cent dialect in there somehow :D

Happy Mutant Egg Laying Bunny Day :D

WOOO HOOOO Great little trip up north to get Mamma her very first Carto Tank for her Lava Tube :D She Likes it a LOT! Clipped the coil and no issues for usage at all, it hits like a dream :D Now is they only made regular manufactured single coils in the same size diameter and length in Stainless Steel :D That would be perfect in every way :D

LOL ....., I know that feeling all too well, however not lately, I have had to really train myself to eat more often and a lot less at a time to crank my metabolism into high gear :D Doing great so far, I am down to 206 pounds from 225 and down from 25% body fat to 18% so doing great so far, just gotta keep it up LOL

Sea I hope you are having an awesome Easter as well :D It was great to be able to be home for it this year :D

Thank you Sea!
Really an awesome day at the store especially considering it was Easter. I thought it would slow, but actually there were a lot of peeps in the store needing supplies in one form, or another.
Even Nate and the family made it up today!

It was great to see you today bud.
I was actually thinking about the load on batteries and a Dual Coil with the top coil clipped would actually cause less load on the batteries, because it turns a dual 1.5ohm carto into a single XL 3.0ohm cartomizer, but they work a heck of a lot better than the duallys on the Lava Tube. :)

I agree, J. I had all but given up on the tanks, because I just didn't like the way the DC cartos worked, but clipping the top coil makes a world of difference! Thank you for the great information!!!!!

Jason, the word "peeps" takes on a whole different meaning this time of year...

Good Morning all :D Well the first day back at work was fairly easy, however from tomorrow on it is going to suck major Dromedary Reproductive Organs! I am in the afternoon watch team so for three days I don't even go into work until noon, then the other two days I am at work at 0545 until after our training is over in the afternoon. YUCK! Oh well, I guess it could be worse, I could be doing all of that same crap away from home LOL

Hey Hy, you are right 100% Peeps does take on a whole new meaning around this time of year LOL

Hi Sea :D:D:D Don't over do it on the housework stuff, not worth it to do too much at one time :(

Hope everyone is having a great day :D

Hey bud,
Sorry to hear about the sucky work schedule, but glad you are doing from home! :)
J.

I am too Bro, it is so nice to be Home finally. The schedule on the Ship when it gets here is going to be pretty rough as well, but at least it should be here most of the time. Even if it isn't and we go out it should still not be for too awful long at any given time.
