so just a quick update, i finally got the Cobra to work! i was noticing that the top part of the coil (the wire that connects from positive post to the mesh itself) was getting bright red while the rest of the coil wouldn't turn hot (and giving me the E1 or E2 error), so i tried rerolling a new coil and now it's getting much, much better. better vapor, but still a very slight metallic taste from time to time. when it works well, it works really, really well and the taste is awesome and vapes very smoothly. not as much choking as yesterday... LOL

i have to say that there is quite a bit of a learning curve, at least for me. still feel i haven't done it quite 100% right yet, but i'm getting there with practice... i'm still preferring the ease of setup of the oddy though!

Hope everyone had an awesome Friday. The Aunts and my Uncle just headed out to the hotel for the night and they will be back to pick up Mom in the Morning to head to Arizona for three weeks It is good to see my Mom and her sisters spending more time together

Good morning my Friend Yeah they are going to have to do a lot more than work me hard to kill me I did have a very long day yesterday though, I was up from 4 am till well after midnight working and then contacting my Dad because of my Brother again. Idiot is sitting in the hoosegow and this time they are not letting him out. ..... I tell ya, just not thinking straight due to chemical interference in the workings of the mind if ya know what I mean. He is probably going to have a long time to think about the stupid decisions he has made over the past year for sure.

Weeeeeeeellll That was not good news from Dad. Lil Bradda got his first .... whoopin in there today. Apparently he must not be too badly hurt because he was trying to call Dad but he did get jumped by about 8 dudes and they worked him over pretty good.

Yeahthe first game was an Epic game but that slaughter the patriots laid down was pretty pathetic from what I saw of it. I changed the channel after the 3rd qtr. was about half over.

I am going to try and get some sleep before Duty tomorrow my Friend, have a great night and I will try and get on the PC at work tomorrow.

I picked up a Cobra from Jason a few weeks back and was having the same problem...it was totally frustrating as it was my first go at a genesis atty...since then I have had (in my best Borat voice) great success! The drill bit method has worked wonders for me especially paired with 28 GA Kanthal. The vapor and flavor is off the hook!


69 Mod, Cobra Atty, 28 GA Kanthal with 5/6 wrap.

I am glad you were able to get it. I like to use the allen tool that comes with the Cobra. There is definitely a learning curve, but once you get it, it's pretty awesome!
