What's up everyone?

So I blew out my spring (apparently by using a ....ty atty), anyway, I need a new one, and I see that there on some on the reo mod site, but they are $4, and shipping is $25, and tbh I'll just sell it before I pay 30 bucks for a new spring lol.

So I'm wondering if there is somewhere else I can get these, or someone who can ship me one for cheaper than 25 bucks :p

Any advice? Thanks.

I'm under the impression its the same as the spring they use in the Radioshack battery boxes. If it's not one of the newer ones covered by the "mod support" thread above, you can probably snag one of those to use until you have to order again from the REOs site (when you order your 2nd one for "backup" :) )

You should send the mod in I no its not what you want to hear but I really think I should have a look at the mod. The springs in the metal mods are all drilled and taped

Can someone please explain what this spring problem is. I don't get it????

It's a sign that a short has occurred. The battery spring is part of the REO fail safe. If you get a short in the atomizer, the battery spring collapses and the battery drops down and breaks contact. That is why we don't like to see batteries used that are too big for the battery compartment and fully compress the spring.

EDIT: MAlzado said it better :)
