to ecf anousr371. Sometimes that is just how it is. I did both for a good while and slowly cut back on cigarettes until it just got to the point where I preferred vaping. After 40 some years of smoking, I quit just like that and it is wonderful. Good luck to you and I hope you will continue to try. Don't know if you realized it yet but ecf just happens to be a huge...........support system for you. :D

Welcome to ECF, Im new around here as well and if it was for the fine folks and all I help I have received I would probably still be puffing on analogs. The best thing you can do around here is read and read some more and if you are uncertain then by all means ask questions, someone with chime in with some help. Good Luck and Hapy Vaping!

I'm new too! I was lucky - since I bought my first e-cig in June, I've only had 1 cigarette (it was Canada Day, my battery had just died, and I wasn't going to take my charger with me to downtown Ottawa and keep myself glued to an outlet during the festivities). lol

Don't despair if you blunder a few times, and keep smoking occasionally - my exgirlfriend (who is actually the one who introduced me to e-cigs) kept smoking for a few months when she first started, but as of now is 2 weeks smoke free, and has already stopped craving cigarettes entirely!

I'm sure you'll find these forums and the people on them an invaluable resource, and support to help you on your way to being smoke free. I know I have! :)
