My experience has been that my first-impressions are oddly misleading at times, and certainly my opinions of things have completely changed as weeks go by. I look at some of my prior posts, and think "really?? what was I thinking that day!?." Regardless, I have to share this (future self be-damned; go ahead, mock yourself later).

This, unfortunately [for purposes of reproduction], is an ad-hoc creation I put together an hour or so ago from about a half-bottle of Virginia. Of course I never expect such results on a whim mix. The details provided are approximate as a result - and are what I'm going to use to attempt the first reproduction:

In 10ml (in this case, 50/50 @ 24mg)
- RealCig (VZ) 5 drops
- HFC (VZ) 3 drops
- Virginia (ECX) 5 drops
- EM 1 drop

The result right now is the most amazing cigarette-like experience I have yet had with a PV. Absolutely loving it! I hope I manage to let it steep a good while because I'm very curious how it will change, but I'm steaming through it at present. Enjoying on a Joye 306 SR @ 4.2v+. In all likely-hood I have just bumped into some other variation/combination of already available Chinese super concentrated flavoring (HA!), but if you have these and you'd love an interesting but not overly complex not-a-nut ciggy-bacco, I say give it a try!

RealCig's analog + Virginia's somewhat odd and dark undertones + a spot of HFC sweet something on top are just heaven. This is just a solid full-body cig for me. Blowing a little directly out the nose before inhaling is phenomenal. I can totally relate to MrBeo's avatar today, except the bottle I'd be clutching no doubt has this in it.

BTW (unrelated), has anyone noticed how some concentrate itself evolves as time passes? My RealCig showed up with something of an unidentified fruit-like smell to it that was completely confusing to me given the results with it. Now it smells outstanding: just like the resulting juice. Hmm.

Regarding the above recipe: (RealCig (VZ) 5 drops, HFC (VZ) 3 drops, Virginia (ECX) 5 drops, EM 1 drop):

The RealCig has faded a bit into the background a bit but does still make its presence known. That being my absolute favorite stand alone flavoring, my reproduction effort might actually shift another drop of that away from the Virginia, or else just add an extra drop. We'll see though, it's definitely still too early to tell. These need AT LEAST a week, and two is much better to have a good idea IMHO. RealCig has previously made a come back on me in other mixes, specifically with the Cuban Supreme from FA - that was dang tasty too - and the touch of Black Sesame it turns out was required for that one to come out the way I liked it...not that it's not good enough for me as is, but I'm considering a drop/two of that here as well (diluted to 10% strength, that stuff is ridiculously strong).

Definitely though, I'm still loving this, and would be very happy to have only this in my pocket for a night out. Especially, with a high level of nic, specifically w/WL Ice. I haven't had the VZ nic (sounds very good/similar to WL Ice, I just am happy with what I have), but I'm guessing it would go very well too. The in-the-nose effect is just too good to pass up and for whatever reason WL Ice is the only one so far that I tolerate well in my nostrils (seems to be on account of the lack of "pepper" as described by CV in his nic roundup).

I don't mean to boast - I certainly didn't come up with the concentrates - but there's just something special about this mix for me. It's strangely bland/ambiguous and flavorful at the same time. This DIY stuff is certainly a strange, interesting, and rewarding practice!

Thanks to all for everything! We have had our moments here, but managed to overcome them and appreciate our differences, and listened to and learned from one another. All great things we can appreciate all the more being free of those deadly distant cousins that were the precursor of our new passion.

After a few days of steeping, i'm really glad to report that the flavors have gained enough strength for me, and they're pretty tasty too

What % of EM (i have TPA Cotton Candy, so it's diluted at 10% in PG) do you suggest i could try to use to improve some of them further?

Also, i wanna thank all of you for all the help and support. You're great! :toast:

I'm really digging the Mango at 4%, so much that i'm gonna order a 30 ml bottle next time. It also blends really good with Piña Colada for a really yummy tropical mix. I'll have to work on a recipe with both :)

So, for those expert mixers here, if i'm enjoying a standalone flavor at 4%, another at 3%, and combined 50/50 into the atty, logic says i could try a mix with both totalling 7%, am i right? Would that be a good estimate or should i take something else into account?

Reading all of your reviews i've decided to order flavours from VZ. I ordered mango, raspberry, strawberry, island tobacco, real cig, dunhill and vfc. Imixed them just now and only tried mango..it's really good and i'm looking forward to trying them all. How long should they rest?

If they taste good as mango i'm a happy camper. :)
