Does the taste change a lot, or is mostly more flavor? I've been happy with those two at 3%, once they've steeped a good amount. I tried the Fr. Pipe at 4% (with a little hazelnut)... it was good, but I think I still like 3% better. Maybe I'll try the VFC and 555 higher out of curiosity though.

Now I have virginia flue cured at 6.5% along with 555 at 6.5%....its a whole new world! I feel like a lunatic. Should I go higher? :)

It is very high. Here's my rough preferences so far

Real Cig 2.5%
Desert Ship 2.5%
French Pipe 3.2%
Black and Mild 3.5%
Dunhill 5%
Cohiba 4%
VFC 6.6%
555 6.6%

blackberry 3.2%
cherry 3.2%
cinnamon bun .75%

black fire: not sure, lower than whatever I reviewed it at

key lime pie: not sure, lower than the 3ish percent that was delicious but gave me acid reflux LOL

haven't yet mixed/stand aloned: whiskey, vanilla, watermelon, milk chocolate, butter rum, snickerdoodle, licorice

I'm sure I've missed some

WRT to the 555 and VFC: its not just more flavor, different notes start to come out at higher percentages. Very different notes. Try it, if you don't like it, just cut it back to the level you enjoy.

EDIT:

Forgot my beloved menthols

Nuport: 2.5%
Sam Mint: 2.5%, but going to play

with the menthols when I increased to 4% the menthol overwhelmed the subtle tobacco notes

The reality is, everyone is different. Yes I vape high VG, but with the flavors I've pushed up high, I've tried up to 70% PG (higher is just lame for me and my gear, I'm a thick vapor junkie) and it doesn't make a difference at all. Some things will be weak, some strong, at equivalent percentages to different people

These are the most concentrated and hands down awesome flavors I have tried. But that doesn't mean they should all be 2.5% or less for sure.

As an analog, FA is considered very concentrated, and most use it at 1-4.% But when you push *some* of the flavors to 10% you start to get totally different notes and tones. magic I tell you, magic.

EDIT: many variables here. Taste buds, gear (--> total watts most importantly) and where you are in the day....e.g. after vaping 3 mls your sensitivity is very different compared to first thing in the a.m. etc....

Not at all JimiD! It's just different, the balance of flavor notes shifts as you go up, not just more flavor. I'm sure if you go 'too high' you'll in fact get less flavor from overload. At 6.6% with VFC I feel like I'm smoking a real cig without the crap, and drowning in a tobacco shoppe at the same time lol

The 555 and VFC are both roughly even mix of PG/VG and 60/40%, respectively. I'll of course keep everyone posted!

And again everyone is different, some report explosions of flavor for the 555 at 3ish percent, I get nada mucho. Just don't get mad at me if you vomit :)

EDIT: and with the 555 at 6.6% I started to get really rich nutty notes, bordering on 'bite' at times, it varies with the drag

@Kat, did you order some Honey Flue? It's the VZ flavor that works best for me, with the most interesting taste and the least throat scratchies after heavy chain-vaping. It's really lovely.

What's different about the NOW VG that makes it a better hand lotion than, say, the Humco stuff?

Yes, Fernand, I did order the HFC. I'm really excited to try out the VZ flavors! It's like being starved and all you guys are talking about is food... Thirsty and drinks work, too. ;)

Did she say it was the best VG for hand lotion? I think 99.9% of people would take her after thought comment as a joke.

You are correct, pizza. (See? More food talk!!!) :D
