Hi everyone. I hope you had a great day. I took some advice and ordered some attys to try the new flavors. I also ordered a lava tube and some cartos and drip tips. My flavors steeped with the caps off for 24 hours they are still steeping but with the caps on. It is so temping to try them but all I have is my tank for now. I hope all is well with everyone.:vapor:

These are the greatest thing ever! Every time I see them in a drug store I buy them. ezydose.JPG

Comes with an adapter that corks any size bottle with a flip top that opens to fit the syringe. All you need to do is tip the bottle upside down with the syringe attached to the cork and fill up the syringe to the level you need. It also comes with a 5ml graduated cylinder with a pour out lip.
Some people slap a candy bar in the basket as they make their rounds. I slap one of these in there.

Some of the flip tops on the corks fit tighter than others. When you get one that closes tight, you can pressurize the bottle with air and still keep it sealed somewhat. I don't know how this will affect the steeping process but I'm setting up and experiment today to see if it helps. One bottle just sealed, another allowed to breath for a day and another sealed with the cork and pressurized.

All of this done with FP cause it's all I have right now.

My 2.5% French Pipe mix has gotten better with more steeping, but is still coming off as too light. I'm going to have to up the % and see where this puppy goes. There are hints of such greatness there, it would be a shame to not get them all.

Hoosier, I use the FP at 4% and IMO it becomes much richer allthough I use 80% VG in my mixes, not sure what happens when using a high % of PG. The Cigar is another great one to push up to 4%.

Thanks AZ. I was thinking of setting up a few bottles with 0.5% difference between each mix and was wondering what should be my upper limit. If I peg 5% as my upper that gives me a nice even 5 test bottles.

(Yeah, I know it's an odd number, but for some reason my DIY % experiments always seem to number 5 so it has become an even test in my warped brain.)

I can tell you I made a batch of FP that worked out to 2.5 drops per ml. After 4 days. It's syrupy sweet- almost caramely. If the sweet would die down, it would still be rich but a little more satisfying. The batch I made at 2 drops last week is good but as I said, I know I'm dipping into it a little early but I have to.
Gonna let the one at 2.5 drops sit for a couple more weeks. Hopefully that will be enough time to see if it need to be diluted/used as a mixture or left alone.

Oh- I'm at 18mg 75/25

Yep, I got the same thing going much over 4% and it's too much.

So far my mistakes have all been tiny. I had two glass bottles prefilled and sitting at the ready that I was very attentive about the night before, even trying to factor the mg percentages into the flavoring I would add (which is something I had originally decided not to worry about with percentages so small). One with 20mls and another would only hold 15mls if I wanted to add flavor, keep it easy on measurements and add an eye dropper cap. Added 40 drops, capped it, shook it and set it in a pan of hot water and came back and saw the 20ml bottle I had intended to use.

All this while waiting for my coffee to brew. Next time coffee come first. Figured I'd give it a shot before diluting it.

It really tastes kinda like strong/sweet caramel right now right down to the slight itchy thickness of a brachs when you swallow it. If brachs made a french pipe chewy candy, this is what it would taste like.

A ? for Jimi D. Early on in this thread, you said 12 drops flavor per 10 ml = 2.5%.... Is that right? Because I get 6 drops per 10ml =3% according to ejuice me up! Just don't want to make it to weak! Thanks
Hi kritter, Actually its 12 per ml. 2.5% Adjust your drop count to 47 drops per ml on the calculator.

You have to "calibrate" your drops first. Water solution drops tend to be around 0.050 ml per drop, propylene glycol solutions around 0.025 ml/drop, and alcohol solutions around 0.015 ml/drop. And it depends on the dropper, the angle you hold it at, what exactly is IN the solution, and the temperature. One drop per ml is a good starting point for these VZ flavorings.
