I use Now VG, best I've found so far, vapes great with no taste at all.

Tried a bottle from a local diy herbal shop, the herbalist said it was the best USP grade she has found. It vaped great by itself but didn't mix well with flavors for some reason.

I'm familiar with NOW, but never used it. Its usually available at GNC, Whole Foods, and Wild By Nature; any granola alternative lifestyle food/stuff store really lol

I've used the heritage brand (also available in the same places) and essential depot; both seem entirely neutral with a slight sweetness which is to be expected

I have a 100% VG/30 nic blend of 555 at 5.7% steeping....I'm pumped!

I've lost track, what have we been doing with vanilla boys and gals? I've only added it to things, so I don't have a sense of it yet.

I mixed it at 2.4% and 3.85%, at lower %'s it has a slight floral note and at the higher % it lost that floral and gain a little creaminess.

I can vape the vanilla alone or mixed with about anything. The floral notes turn to a hint of cinnamon with a bit of steeping IMO. The Vanilla is one of the flavors that I hope to get a big bottle of soon.

BTW- Look at the label on that Now VG. I used to use it exclusively but last year there were some changes made. It went from being in a purple bottle and being USP, to being in a clear bottle and being food grade. Might not matter to you but I thought I would mention it.

Regarding Caramel flavor...I got four of these super concentrated flavors (Caramel, amaretto, cherry, and banana). All except Caramel have a recognizable taste when vaping, and the concentrates also smell recognizable, but the Caramel smells horrid; not at all what I thoguht it would, but figured it is a concentrate so...who knows.

But when mixed and vaped, it tasted more like a tobacco flavor and not at all like caramel. I tried a mix at 2.5%, another @ 5%, and one at 10%. I would assume at 4x the recommended level it should be sickly sweet but all I get is just a mild hint of caramel! I'm very confused. Has anyone else vaped this one? Is it a case of needed some serious steeping??

Regarding Caramel flavor...I got four of these super concentrated flavors. Keeping in mind Im very new to mixing, I am not getting anywhere with the Caramel. It smells horrible and have read others saying they are shocked at the smell too; not at all like caramel. When i mixed it at 2.5%, it tasted like tobacco??? I tried bumping up the levels to 5%, then 10% with no real caramel flavor coming...maybe just a hint at 10%. Is this one of those flavors that needs a lot of steeping??
The Caramel is very very strong.. I use 1/2 to 1%. Yes it tastes just like tobacco at 1.5% and more.

You would need to bump it way down like .50 to .75 of one percent not up. You are right in the regard that this is not a candyish caramel and will not be for everyone. It needs to be used at a MUCH lower than recommended rate.
