So how are the new tanks suppose to compare to the wow and premium cartos? More vapor less vapor or the same? and how would the flavor compare?

From what I can understand they hold more liquid. Does that prevent them from burning up the filling?

Are they not considered disposable? If so whats the average life span on them?

Can you clean them to remove the old flavor? If so how hard is it?

Do they have the V4l Logo? =)

I know some of these are subjective but i couldnt help asking.

Let me take a shot at this.....

The non-KR808 tanks are for a 510 device (the new 5v OMG Mod) and they produce much more vapor because they are dual coil and the Mod comes off the charger at around 5.3v as opposed to 4.2v on a KR808 battery. These specific tanks will not work on any of the V4L KR batteries, although they just released some that do today.

Yes standard V4L cartos are 1ml whereas the tanks are 3.5 ml and a 6 ml. So they do indeed hold more juice. Tank life varies, generally the Carto should give out before the tank. Tanks will eventually leak but should last at least a month if not longer. Alot of that depends on what juices you are using. Cinnamon is notoriously tough on atomizers and tanks.

You can easily clean them as both grommets pop right out. The Dual Coil Cartomizers are a little on the tough side to clean out due to their length and the fact that the dual coils rest on the bottom so cleaning the atties is more challenging.

No...there is no V4L logo on them

How did I do?

808 tanks have been out for a while. They are the same tanks as 510 tanks they just switch the carto out to an 808. They do seem to work well and a lot of people swear by them to get that fresh full carto taste all day long. I think the smaller tanks look very interesting. The 5ml seems to big for me. Though if you are a chain vaper it might be right for you.

Could you please clarify and elaborate a little more on how long the 808 Tanks have been out. You said they have been out for
and
lots of people swear by them.
But to my knowledge the only 808 tanks have been on the market for less than 5 business hours starting yesterday afternoon.

There was talk a month ago about an Australian company having them for vertical coil but there site has been down since the 1st of the year. I know of only 1 person in the world that has ever commented on using them the first and only KRDCT and that is Dohsma. Of course personally if Dohsma says they work, that's all I really need to know. Thanks

The only commercially sold pre-punched KR808 cartomizers for tanks were the MF style or horizontal coil cartomizers. To my knowledge the new V4L or DCTs are the first tanks to be sold specifically with a dual coil style KR808 cartomizer.

Many DIYers including myself have punched holes in vertical style (V4L) cartos for use in tanks. By using a slug style Drip tip to extend the length of the Cartomizer they can be used for the more affordable and common longer styled tanks.

The tank you referred to in your PM is a generic tank, which does not include the cartomizer with it.

Yes KRDCT (copyright 2012)...you heard it here first folks.

LOL,Ok so they are a different style of 808 tank. But they are 808 carto tanks. They have the pre punched 808 cartos available for them.Thats what I said, and people seem to like 808s in their tanks so the V4L tanks should do well. Im really happy they are carrying them now. Cant wait to try them.V4L prices are much better too!

They are the answer to every chain vapers woes....go crazy! If there is juice in the tank the polyfill stays wet as a fresh refill. I do recommend topping it off when it gets down to about a 1/4 full, this keeps the polyfill nice and wet to the top. No more burnt cartos......

Sounds great! I've never really used a tank before. I remember Morandir making a comment the other day (possibly related to one of the other mods recently released) that chain vaping on a tank can produce a burnt taste. Sorry, I'm not sure what the context was, but I'd be interested to know if these new tanks solve whatever that problem was.

Fantastic, thank you. I'm really interested in trying one of these new tanks. I'm also very much looking forward to the anticipated mod manufactured by V4L. I think the OMG mod and the 6ml tank is way too big/fat for my taste, but the 3.5 is better. I'm hoping the upcoming mod is a little closer to the diameter of the original batteries.

LOL, No..they are not a different style 808 tank. They are a tank which can be used with 510 or 808 cartomizers just like any tank in that specific size since both cartos share the same outside diameter and relative length. The company in question does not and has never sold pre-punched dual coil style KR cartomizers for use with their tank.

V4l is the first company to sell pre-punched dual coil style KR cartomizers for use on Gen I batteries in a tank or a KRDCT.

MF styled horizontal KR Cartomizers are designed to be used with regulated 3.7 Gen II KR batteries not with unregulated Gen I V4L batteries.

If you would like to believe that MF cartos are the same I suggest you buy one and place it on your V4L battery. At 4.2v you will find that the horizontal coil atomizer will scorch your juice.

To better understand the difference between the two allow me to refer to you a comparison done by Morandir.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/morandir835/1548-king-diamond-vs-maxxfusion-review.html

In any case I agree that this will be a fine addition to the V4L line up and address the long standing issue of refilling multiple times throughout the day and burning cartos.

I would appreciate it if you could please show me a single review of a KR Dual Coil Cartomizer or another vendor that sells a KR Dual Coil Cartomizer.

I tip my hat to the staff for the ground-breaking product and look forward to the very first reviews of the KRDCT. A tank system dedicated for use with Gen I KR unregulated Batteries and the first Dual Coil KR Cartomizers....ever.

Will a 510 carto fit in the V4L tank? cuz I would think it would.Does that make it a generic tank? I just dont get what your saying. I understand that V4L has put a vertical coil carto in their tank. But whats your point? The other is an 808 tank also, just different cartos. Why argue over something so stupid? Just to bully me into agreeing with you? I disagree, and thats okay.We can disagree. People disagree all the time. :)

Oh, I am sorry and apologize if this came across as bullying. But I do think it needs to be clarified that V4L has just released a first of it's kind Dual Vertical Coil Cartomizer. To answer you question about the tank, yes it does make it a generic tank.

This in not simply a case of sticking a vertical coil or horizontal KR carto in a tank....I've done that as well as many others.

This is the first ever Dual Vertical Coil Cartomizer, so I was simply responding to your initial reply. I believe that it is noteworthy and a stand alone product.

Again my apologies, I'm just not sure how "people swear by them" if the Dual Vertical Coil Cartomizers have only been available for little over 24 hours by V4L, as I had stated before. Given that, I am at a loss that there is anything to disagree over? To my knowledge, as I stated...Dohsma is the only person to ever opine on the new DVCT.
