Just got a couple more boxes of CE2s and (5) of the new thicker tubes were part of the order - tried every drip tip I own and none fit - looks like they added the thickness to the inside which would suggest that the new fluxos, that I haven't tried yet cause my originals are still working so well, must have a skinnier base which means that the BD syringe will no longer fit - hopefully, the new tubes will negate the need to cut up BD syringes to replace the cracked originals - gonna miss my clear delryn tips though!!

What's the secret? Where'd ya get um and what did you pay? Only way I can think of to make them thicker is smaller inside diameter or larger outside diameter. One way the DT's and volume are affected. The other way the cones need to be modified or new cones produced. JMHO

Yes, they made the new thicker tubes for the fluxos with a smaller inside diameter (hence, drip tips don't fit) and once again I'm guessing that the new fluxos with thicker tubes must have a smaller diameter base to accommodate the smaller diameter, thicker tube - anyway....I read about the BD syringes on this forum and almost ordered a gross amount online - lucked out and stopped by a local pharmacy and they just happened to have them at .20 apiece (they use these for flu shots) - they are the same inside diameter as the older fluxos - bought five and made 10 tubes (small hand saw and sandpaper to clean up the ends and even them out) - had to sand the inside of each end to take off the hard inside edge (easier to slide over the base and to insert drip tips) - these are much thicker and don't look quite as good but have been using four of these for 2.5 mos and these will never crack and will never leak at the batt end unless you damage the silicone gasket when replacing the tube after cleaning - if you break or nick the gasket, they will never stop seeping or leaking and the next solution is super glue - these don't allow for a cone - looks like you'd have to cut about an eighth inch off for it to clear the BD on an ego, riva, etc. - just hoping that my new flluxos with the thicker tube makes all of this uneccessary - fluxos are the best thing I've found in my one year of vaping - have tons of new fluxos that I haven't touched - still using the original eight in rotation that I got months ago -they just keep working....wow, I got carried away here!!!
BTW, got the new clear ce2s w/thick tubes at gotvapes.com

The base is the same diameter, the tubes are actually made from a heatshrink material. If you look at the new fluxos compared to the old, the tube tapers in a little where it leaves the base. The thicker tubes came at the expense of a little less volume. The BD syringes still fit.

Thanks for that - I got five of the thicker tubes with my last fluxo order and I had only tried one of these with the drip tips - just tried a few of the others and the tips worked on most of them - guess I jumped the gun on my evaluation - gonna try and replace one of the BDs with one of these soon - I always put a bead of VG just above the silicone gasket before replacing the tube - hopefully that will help to ease these on without destroying that.
