I've never tried an e-cig, but have been tossing the idea around for about a week now. Several reasons have brought me to finally break down, and order one from Vapor4Life.com. I'm moving into a new home, and really would rather not have a smoke filled BRAND new house (the house will be completed in two weeks), and the prices of tobacco are really starting to tick me off. I picked V4L due to the praises of customer service, I really like to hear that, and most folks seemed pleased with the ease of use with the VK. The order was placed yesterday (order #4584, if Steve is reading), and am as excited as a kid on Christmas. Wish me luck, and thanks all for the great, and informative reviews.

Welcome! Pull up a chair and relax - you are in good company! Most of us are waiting for an order in some stage! (This is the first time I actually waited to order until I actually GOT an order so YAY me! Usually I have 2 orders on the way at all times!!!! ;) )

Customer service is the best, I don't think you will be disappointed in your choice! So what'd ya get? Manual or auto? What flavors! Do tell, we love hearing! And if you have any questions - ask away! We love to help!

Got the auto (I think), and since I was just interested in trying this whole e-cig thing out, I got the VAPOR KING-Ultimate Ultimatum kit, with the PCC, pass-through, etc. etc. I couldnt decide on a flavor, so went with the 36 mg Coconut carts, only 5 of em, but hey, everyone has gotta start somewhere right? In your experience JenJen, how long is a single cartomizer lasting you without refilling? I figgured if my 1st experience was good, I'd order more cartomizers, and they'd arrive before the innitail 5 ran out.

36mg are pretty strong. As a rule I go through about 1 1/2 cartos a day, on weekends maybe 2. But I am willing to bet Steve throws in some cartos to sample and some fluid too so you can refill. The trick with the auto batteries is to take a quick primer puff, then a loooong sloooow hit. Nice and easy. You will get the hang of it quickly, but it is a bit different then the draw on an analog.

I think you will be very pleased! :D If you find the 36 too strong, order a step down next time to the 24s.

Ordering the Ultimate Ultimatum was a great choice! I'm sure you will be happy with the VK and V4L. I think it's the best way to start and stay on the e-cig thing.

Cartomizer life, for me, is usually a day. I like to switch flavors around, so, each one tends to last longer. The key is to not vape so heavily that the cart gets really hot and gives off a burnt flavor. Long, slow draws are the best way to get the most out of the flavor and vaping experience. If I'm using the passthrough, they can run out rather quickly.
Keep your credit card handy...you will be ordering more flavors :)
Keep us posted!

EN...How much did you smoke a day and what brand? It would help us to make recommendations for the nic level...:D
. Good question Gazoo. I try not to burn through a pack a day, but always do. Almost like clockwork. I had been handrolling for years, Drum was my prefered brand, but now, with that 2000% tax increase (Drum being imported to boot), Ive gone back to Pall Mall filter analogs. So I guess it's fair to say that my nic needs are relativly high. I AM stoked about the USB pass through, I tend to chain smoke when idle infront of a computer.

36 might be too high...I think some 24 would be much better for you. It was much easier for me to quit analogs than I thought possible. After 40 years of smoking 1.5 packs per day, I have not touched one since my first vape. That in itself is a miracle. I started with 24mg but have cut down to 18mg. After doing much research I went with the VK...I like to no muss no fuss and it is just so cool..lol. And Steve ...well he is just the bomb..plain and simple. You will love it.

Vaping is a totally new and wonderful experience. I will admit I still have a craving for an analog at times but it is mild and vaping takes care of it. I do not vape like I used to smoke. I only vape when I feel the need for a nic hit, and sometimes more. I think the flavors are becoming more addictive than the nicotine..lol. One thing a lot of people notice is that when you vape it will take a bit longer for the nicotine to satisfy you compared to an analog. But you will know when it does...should only be a couple of minutes.

Please let us know how you like it...I have no doubt you will be in heaven. Being smoke free has had a very positive impact on my health and it's so nice to not have smoke in my home. :D

Oh yeah, I do refill my carts. I am using 3 or 4 per week. So the savings for me is about half over what analogs were and they cost around 36.00 a carton here in SC. The savings are there providing you take care of your cartomizers by keeping them filled. They do last a long time..at the most I might be going through 2 a day. But like I said I keep them filled so they don't get dry. But no matter how hard I try I do burn one once in awhile. Anyway, there is a ton of ways to care for cartomizers...first things first...;)

I would recommend you to try the flavor carts first and save them. Then when you get your favorite flavors then get a bottle of the juice and refill the carts you've been saving. It sucks to get a big bottle of juice for a flavor you won't vape much. Also get a small tackle box for storing juices and carts. I picked one up at the 99 cent store. Never tried higher than 24mg nic lvl. I smoked 1-2 packs a day lights. I am using the 18mg stuff now. Good choice with v4l and welcome to the crew.

You've made a great choice, especially for your 1st e-cig. A lot of us here started with something else. I was able to quit smoking with my DSE-901 model, but I got so fed up with the maintenance and filling, dripping, dropping, topping off, etc.

The Vapor King from V4L ended all that. And the flavors are AWESOME, so I definitely recommend that you try different ones, not just the tobacco ones. I was persuaded to switch to the VK for many reasons, but mostly because Steve has so many happy customers. He really takes care of us, plus he always includes some free stuff as well.

I just love the ease of use and the convenience of being able to just put on a cartomizer and vape.

I suggest that you get some different strengths to try. As a heavy smoker I really like the 24mgs but not all the time. I also have some lower strength ones.

Hope you get your package soon -- you're going to love it. :D
