no i got the new one.. its the white one
it could be that ur using too much cotton. If u don't use enough then you would get flooding not the burnt taste. U want it to be touching the holes but not packed in there, that how I've been doing it and its been perfect

Gotcha.

I think on those, most people mount the Coil so it is inline with the holes in the Side of the rba Barrel. then feed a piece of cotton thru one Side hole, thru the coil, and then out the Other side hole. Then trim the cotton close to the side of the barrel.

They Key is finding the Right amount of Cotton. And Usually, Less Cotton is Better than More Cotton.

And with Any Built or Coil Head. Be sure to Prime the Wick until it doesn't soak up anymore e-liquid.

when i first got the tank, i used the rba that it came with already made..of course it worked great.. the next one i made using the coil that came with the tank..again it worked good..not as good but good.. then as soon as i started getting involved in the coil building it got messy.. the pre wrapped ones worked the best. my wrapping isnt the problem. i seem to be ok at it. they are coming along ok, but the burned taste is keeping up.. im using the rip trippers video as a guide.. i dont know what im doing wrong.

It's hard to Explain.

But you should feel a Slight Resistance when you pull the Cotton thru the Coil. And when you pull it thru, if the Cotton wants to Bunch Up, that is a Sign that you are using too much Cotton.
