New to DIY, check out my first order please

I am so nervous! Not because my wife is going to kill me but it's my first order for DIY ejuice stuff!

I am ordering from Wizard Labs and so far have:

500ml 12mg Nic in PG base
1000ml PG
1000ml VG
Bottles
Syringes with blunt tip needles
Various flavors

It's almost $100 and about all I can afford right now what do you think?

Having a 10ml syringe has been invaluable if mixing by volume-for me. Then really small diabetic syringes for flavoring.

Wiz labs are great and you will have a blast on your first mixing session!

Pretty much how i started - now i order VG & PG in gallons, flavourings in 100mls and the highest nicotine available. I begrudge paying someone else to dilute the nicotine !

Uh, at what level nic do you vape? Mixing with more PG, VG and flavors will dilute your 12mg.

Most of us get nic at 100 mg/ml, easy math to dilute, cheaper in the long run.

If you mix the pg/vg/nic, that's in your order:
2500 ml liquid
60/pg/40vg/2.4 mg nic.

What the highest mg/ml nic you can get? In the states, should be 100, other places not as high. Get the highest you can.

Think of it this way - 500 ml x 12 mg=6000 mgs of nic

120 ml x 100 mg=12,000 mgs

It’s no harder to type one into a calculator than the other, and you can get twice as much nic less diluted for probably less than half the cost. And that could mean more money for flavors or tools.

I agree... why did you only get 12 mg nic? For a little more, you could have got 100mg and would go a long way. Otherwise you did great! Make your first test batches very small so you can try them and adjust strength. What flavors?

Good call. I made the mistake of just getting 48mg nic (in PG) and plain VG. At the time it made for easy mixing to end up with 12 mg juice for MTL, then I started doing restriced DL and building RTAs... suddenly needed 6 mg and had no good way to mix it. You will be able to mix any ratio and strength you need.

River Supply has very good prices on nic, VG and PG. Bull City Flavors is great for flavor concentrates.
There are a couple other good ones for nic (others will chime in) I like RS because they are right here in CA.

Reduce the vg & pg and order 100mg nic. What ratio vg/pg do you use?

Actually you can get 250 which is all I order now. Takes less room in freezer and is cheaper by mg.
