i've read all over that diy is way cheaper but im not really seeing it. i order 50ml bottles from madvapes right now and that is crazy cheap. i'm definitely a fan of the idea of making my own juices but in the places ive been looking, doesnt seem a whole lot cheaper.
any suggestions on a good way for a newbie to start up? i like the sweeter niquid flavours and occasionally light menthols but not crazy about tobaccos.

Well, let's do a cost comparison ;)

Your joose from MV runs you about $0.20 per ml.

I recently bought 250ml of 100mg nic base for $36 - that's enough for me to make 1000ml of 25mg joose.

I work strictly in VG, so 750ml of VG runs me about $18 (two 500ml bottles).

For the sake of argument let's say I use 10% flavoring - so 100ml of various flavors would run me maybe $60 (actually it costs me about half that but I only use a handful of flavors).

So - 1000ml of joose costs me $114.00, or 11.4 cents per ml.

I use 24% flavor in VG and it costs me $.10 per ml. and I get to have whatever strikes my fancy! No shipping no waiting. DIY wasn't particularly cheap in the beginning, just like vapeing. I bought a truck load of flavors so I am set for quite awhile now. I look at it this way I would have spent $2433. up to this point on cigarettes and have only spent $1158.05 vapeing. Any way you look at it I have managed to save $1275.00 and that includes 1-2 years of hardware and eliquid fixin's. Let those savings keep on coming!

I know I've been thinking about it because I've pretty much found my goto all evening flavor (at least for now). Simple and to the point. Cherry. Always been a fan of cherries. Cherry Coke, cherry whatever. So based on the amount I consume on a given day, it's got to be cheaper to make it myself. Just a matter of doing my research first. Science and math (especially formulaic and ratio based math) were always my strongest subjects in school. :)
