Hi all,

I'm starting to try DIY. While waiting for my order from WL I decided to try to "fix" some of my unvapable juices. First try was actually a success. I started with dekang green tea (horrid stuff) 10 ml/24 mg. Then I added 1 % of a tropical punch juice (would have added more but was all I had left). Then 6 to 7% raspberry Loranns that I had in the spice cupboard. I could still taste the mustiness of the green tea underneath so I added about 10 drops of vanilla e liquid. Perfect, as long as I don't exhale through the nose.

Now I want to figure out what to do with the even more vile dekang clove. I'm stumped, the bottle just sits there mocking me. Any ideas?

I'm also wondering if I added too much Loranns to my raspberry green tea. It tastes fine (when properly exhaled) but it is making my throat hurt a little.

Yeah.... ummmm... that's a stumper. What do you want to do with the clove? Add it to your raspberry green tea? Probably a worse plan added to an already bad idea. Why not wait for your WL order and make a nice clove tobacco mix with it?

Or - Vanilla-Raspberry Punch sounds tasty.

As long as you don't add clove to it. :)

here are a few SUGGESTIONS that I have found for the clove juice (after a little research)
cloves bring out and round off fruity flavors, Primary used with apple, pumpkin.
Looks like cloves are also mixed with vanilla and cinnamon.
Clove looks like a flavor that is used to help bring out the flavors of other things, so I would think that it would need to be used as a low percentage addition to a combination of flavors, maybe around 1% to 3% of your total flavoring.
That is my 2 cents on clove, curious to see what you create, please do share with us once your done creating!!

You can read Wikpedia, or go by the veteran DIYers that are sure to chime in later. Sure, you can mix in clove with vanillin or cinnamon but sparingly. Clove can ruin most juices if used in large percentages. It taste like s... in a 10ml recipe if more than 5% is used. I never saw it's use in fruit mixes as it's more of a tobacco kind of flavoring. But what it tastes like in your vape is what counts. Opinions may vary.

What I saw another DIYer mention, was mixing half of his liquid. So for example, take a 3ml or 6 ml extra sample bottle you have. Fill it have half with clove, mark them. Maybe 1,2,3, and correspond these in a notebook. Make different changes to each small batch. Maybe pear in one, cinnamon in another, etc. Maybe let it steep a day or so. See if any of these experiments make something good. Then, you can do that experiment to the bigger bottle of hopeless clove should you come across a new flavor you like.
