Rereading my list and thinking of another post I'm now considering the Cyclone. They seem to get awesome reviews, easy to build on, adjustable air flows. Seems to check all the boxes except for the price and lack of grub screws. My vapor store has them for around $50... course my wife is Filipino and saying as they are made there I could justify it by saying I'm supporting the wife's homeland, ha ha. Has anyone ever just gotten some set screws to replace the phillips heads? Funny that I believe I read the older cyclones used to have the allens.

Well, not that anyone really cares but I finally made up my mind and ended up ordering an Achilles clone from frog in fog (Hong Kong).
Forget where I first came across this rda, but it's a center airflow and specifically designed for a single coil. It also has adjustable air flow, is made of titanium, large juice well, and it actually does tick all the boxes I had listed above. Was $25, I bought 2
I'm pretty psyched because I've always thought the center draw concept was a good one. That's why I originally bought the vision eternity, it's just that that one is such a pain to build with the little clips. I had no idea such a cool looking atty was available, and not prone to leaking either.
If the OP hasn't made up their mind yet, might give this one a look ... great for mouth to lung hitters with simple build. The only draw back I see, (might actually be a plus), is that the posts don't have holes in them, meaning you have to secure the coil leads under the wire - but this is actually probably a more secure mount anyhow.

I have the Freakshow Mini and it's fine with single coil. The top cap has a single coil option. Good flavor.

Love my doge. I started with a mutation x v1, and that was a great start in terms of RDAs. Wanted something with a bit more airflow and cloud production, so I went up to the Doge. Really solid honestly. Constricts building a little bit, but I've only had one issue where I couldn't use a build due to the way it was set up, but I wasn't bothered. Running 26ga parallels on here and it runs great.
I also started RDA rebuilding today went to the local vape shop sweet vapes, he recommended the derringer clone as the best cheapest flavor RDA, ive nvr built any coils I screwed up the first 3 but aftewr that it was a breeze, derringer is very small and seems to leak a bit but for 17 bucks and if you like flavor give it a try
You know I have both a doge v2 and a plume veil v1.5. I like the center block on the plume veil but the doge is just as good. I am not sure about the mutation as every time I have looked at it it just seems to have very little room. Then again you can also look at the freakshow which I do not care for because of the large air holes under the coil. Still the Doge v2 and the X-Doge v2 are very good atties and you will get what you pay for.
