Hi all. I'm completely new to e-cigs. I am wanting to get one for my boyfriend who smokes about a pack a day. A friend gave me a very old blu starter pack, but I couldn't even get it to charge, and after doing some research (on here) and taking to my boyfriend about what he wants, I have decided I want an eGo, although I'm still not completely sure what all the different parts are. A little overwhelming. And I'm seeing the infinite number of online dealers for e-cigs, so it's hard to tell the good ones.
Will someone please help me out? Is this a good deal and does anyone have any experience with this website?

That looks to be a good starter kit in my humble opinion. The eGo kits are very nice. I started with the volcano Inferno starter kit Monday of last week. I have half a carton of regular cigarettes left in my freezer and haven't touched a one of them since about Wednesday of last week. It is very similar to the eGo kit, but comes with a tank. I had to order some low-resistance Atty's for it and have really been enjoying vaping ever since. Good luck on finding the right kit for your boyfriend. :)

Thanks Taylon. Should the basic (65 dollar) package last a while? Should I go ahead and get extras of anything? Should I include the refill liquid or get that elsewhere?

Yep should last yah about 8-12 months, but always a good idea to have a spare battery anyways, and a charger.

tellie, it's as good as anything else. If you hang around on this thread long enough, you will get a million different opinions and your head will spin clean off your shoulders. What you have will get the job done. If BF likes it, he'll move onto something else that suits him better. He'll be motivated to do his own research. Go for it! And good luck.

Hi Telephone, Welcome to the ECF. Yes, Altcig is a great, reputable vendor. I would suggest a small tweak to you plan, AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | Joye eGo Starter Kit This will get you the batteries, charger and two atomizers. The atomizers will be saved for liquid taste testing. One of the tough parts is finding the right liquid for what fits our tastes and current needs. Once you have this in place you will need an easy to use, forgiving feed device. This fits that notion for a vast majority of new(and veteran) vapers http://altsmoke.com/accessories/tanks/vision-vivi-tanks/vision-vivi-replacement-coil-tank-kit.html or AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | eVod Clearomizer - Changeable Bottom Coil Clearomizer or AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | Vision Clearomizer - AltSmoke The last two would require a backup clearomizer or additional coil/wick assembly(both would be wise) , For the same or similar price you could have a much freindlier feed system and a few extra pieces as backup equipment just incase something goes awry.

All In All you have chose a great vendor, and are on the right track. You just need a few samples of liquid to get going and you should be all set. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

I got my starter kit(Ego-T) from MyFreedomSmokes, it seemed like a good deal and the service was great. Their prices seemed to be good compared to what I saw at the time and the turnaround was good. Find the kit that looks good and then shop around. Make sure you are getting the real thing, you can get duped into a Chinese look-alike easily from what I have read on these forums.

Okay. Thank you guys. I just needed reassurance before I made the purchase. I'm going to just go ahead and get the liquid that comes with it just to try it out and will try others from there.

Also, tell him to drink plenty of water as vaping can dehydrate you. He might develop a sore throat as well. This is normal and only lasts a week or two.
