Hey guys, i've been lurking these forums for a few months and figured I might as well join. I've never really smoked, never really had the desire to do so, until I saw electronic cigarettes. I dunno what it is about em, but I'm dying to get my hands on one. I'm a college student so I'm also trying to find the cheapest way around this. I noticed Amazon took them down quite a while ago and I was rather disappointed. Any cheap(ish) online deals around that might interest me?

Better to not start a habit if you can help it. But if you do, just don't use nicotine - you can make your own liquids very cheaply with propylene glycol and/or glycerin mixed with flavors.
Oh and cheapest way to get started is probably a disposable 510 kit from madvapes.com - buy two if you want one to charge while you use the other. Cignot.com has some good deals too.

Alright I'm looking at Madvapes.com....and it says I can get 101+ for like $7. What the hell does this mean?! Have I found a jackpot!? haha.
Nicotine addiction is tough. Most of us love vaping because we don't smoke anymore ;-)
It's a jackpot if you have 700+ dollars. That's the quantity price for a 9.99 disposable 510.

I am just going to shake my head and mumble what I cannot post in the public forums.
I'll go along with others - the majority of people using PVs do so because they want to break a habit thats ruined their lives for years. Smoking tobacco cigarettes.
We have a couple of people using nicotine to medicate certain illnesses and hardly any at all who have never smoked and use soley non nicotine juice ( a lot of ex smokers do though). A lot of the ex smoker users want to cut their nic addiction as well and plan to use 0 nic juice eventually.
I don't personally know a single young person who thinks 'e-cigs' are cool - msot of them wouldnt touch anything their parents use anyway, because its the total opposite of cool.
I'm not being horrid, please don't think so, but nobody here who got suckered into smoking wants to see a non smoker get possibly drawn in by another route.
If you're an adult then of course its your decision (until the govt take personal choice away from you) and the info you need is freely available by research.

I tell the younger guys at work to quit while they still can. They, laugh and say they can quit anytime. Put it down for months and pick it back up later. No harm. I used to be the same way. Sounds like the generic crap they tell school kids or you see on those PSA's but it's true.

I agree with everyone else. If you arent a smoker already, dont pick it up.
If you must must try it, use the cartridges or liquid with 0 nicotine.
I dont know what you consider cheep. For me as a smoker, all of this is pretty cheap, as I am seeing what is atleast a 40% drop in cost from regular tobacco cigs, possibly more.
On the other hand, from a non smoker's point of view, plan to spend a min of about 100$ initially.
In general, I have found that a lot of the stuff is similarly priced, with a few differences in select items between sites.
So far, I like vapor kings, vapor4life, and tasty vapor.
