new to e-smoking and liquid

Just thought I would say hi, I'm kinda new to the forum. I purchased my penstyle (or the royale as inlife would call it) about 2 weeks ago. Sadly enough I started doing research on e-cigarettes after I paid a massive $140.00 for my starter kit. (what a rip off)

Well I thought I would make the best out of it and I had convinced the new supplier that I bought my kit from, to give me an extra battery, atomizer, and 15 carts to go with it, due to being an unhappy customer and ready to return it without it even showing up on my doorstep. (Of course I could stand by his kiosk telling everyone that they can go to any other site and buy one from a supplier that isn't going to rip them off. Perhaps one of the suppliers here on the forum.)

But I digress.....

I got it and after watching a video from a guy that modified his super mini with tape. :) I've been wanting to find one and get one of those too. (anyone have any suggestions as to where to buy one?)

I also just got my first bottle of e-liquid from totally wicked to refill my carts with. (the guy in the mall wanted to charge 4 dollars per cartridge. saying that it was a great price because it would last the same as two packs of smokes.)

All I have to say is wow. The quality of the liquid is awesome. It was a completly different experience from the cart flavor and quality that I got from inlife.

I would like to thank all of you here for being so helpfull and informative about everything related to e-smoking.

When you buy another another ecig I would like to suggest the m series from smoore plenty of suppliers sell them. I have only tried the m401 but the battery life and atomisers are awesome. I keep on wanting to buy a joye 510 but the reviews say the batteries only last 2 to 3 hours. I get 5-7 hours on mine with constant vaping and the throat hit is amazing. I have another ecig the great white from ecigsales and it does not even compare. I think I might get a m201 penstyle within the next few months or so the battery life on them is even longer. I do not think I will venture out of the m series world for a long time to come. Oh and the suplliers sell these for around 50-60 bucks. I would also buy an extra atomiser

Thank you for the additional info. I just absolutely loved that amount of vapor that it showed in the video. I might get half of that from my pen style e-cig. And I don't usually get much of a throat hit after the first 2-3 drags off of a new cart.

If there was a way to modify this one so I could get a better vapor control I think I would probably go for it. Granted I'm not displeased with my "royale" pen style e-cig. I just think it would bring my experience with e-cigs to a higher level if it produced more vapor.

I'll look into that m401. Not exactly sure when or if I'll buy another one considering I basically got 2 cigs at the moment.

oh I've also noticed that it takes a lot more than just 3-4 drops of liquid to fill the entire cart. Is that usual or am I just overloading on the juice?

Thanks

Welcome to the world of Vaping Silverknight7.
I suggest you spend some time visiting the E-cigarette review section (Model specific area) before you make up your mind on your next E-cig.

I have tried a lot of different types.
The 401 was my first E-cig. At first I hated it, because of the tiny little carts, and it leaked like crazy on me. I put it away and next I went to a 801 penstyle. I liked it better because of the bigger carts. Then I tried the 901s, smaller carts, but still good life out of them. The 901 seemed to me, produced better flavor than the penstyle. This was my E-cig of choice for a long time until I started running low on batteries. I then broke out the 401s that I had forgotten about, and re-discovered that to me, they actually tasted better than the 901. I also by this time had learned not to overfill my carts, and no longer did I have the leaking problem. The vape was also slightly warmed by the closeness of the atomizer to the mouthpiece, which I liked.
Next I went to the Joye 510, and then it became my E-cig of choice. It gives me the best vapor, hit and taste of any that I have had. Yes the batteries do run down fast. The carts are a little larger than the 901s, which is a plus. I just have 4 chargers and therefore always have charged batteries ready to go. LOL.

Don't take my word for it. Because, all in all, what works for one person doesn't always work for the next. Try to gain as much knowledge and perspective about what is available and make a decision on which best suits your needs.
You will probably end up like a lot of us, and be buying and trying every new thing that comes out. Some will be great, some you will hate.

Happy Vaping.

the screwdriver seems to be a bit bulky though. :(

I saw on totally wicked that they have a titan that has a manual switch on the battery of it.

Has anyone tried that one yet?

The Screwdriver is no longer than a 901. If it was me, I would get the Prodigy from www.puresmoker.com. Great versitility, long battery life, manual switch for great throat hit and a 6 month warranty.

So I did some shopping around on the internet and was given a budget of under 100 dollars to find a new e-cig. I found out that the titan from totally wicked was the same thing as the dura-c. and sadly the SD is a solid bill and the Janty stick was only 79. (also the hole in my pocket and kid in a candy store mentality when it comes to e-cigs, took over and I did not have the patience to wait for the prodigy.)

So I got the dura c. but I was also able to get 10 extra cartridges, 15 ml of juice, cigarette to usb adapter, and a usb charger to go with it all for 80.

I just got the dura c today and absolutely love it. it produces the same amount of vapor I was getting from my penstyle when I was adding glycerin but without adding glycerin. :D

Kid in candy store is fully absorbed in chocolate now!!!!!
