New to ECF, kinda new to e-cigs

Hello!!
I'm new here and wanted to say HI . My husband and I started vaping about a year ago and ended up going back to analogs. We bought our first e-cig kit at our local mall and experienced nothing but bad with it. Recently we purchased a kr808 set online and we really like it now. He found some juice from Vermillion River (Kentucky blends) he really enjoys. I'm still on the hunt for that all day vape. I do like a lot of the juices from VR but I am finding myself switching cartos all day. We are expecting our delivery of our first mod (Omega from AltSmokes) on Monday. I also ordered a couple of juices. We still cheat with the analogs but we made a promise to each other that today is the last day. Wish us luck. Well that's the short story so far and I really welcome any advice you can give. It was nice meeting you all and we are looking forward to sharing our vaping experiences with you. Take Care.

Welcome, you may not find that all day vape. I like the different flavors and your taste bud will adapt and change as you give up the stinkies. I like to switch at least once during the day because I don't get the same snap of flavor if I use the same thing all day. So you might pick 2 that are your favorite and just switch between the 2. That's why I stick with the 808 and cartos, easy switching when I want. I don't know much about your mod and how easy it will be to change flavors.

I quit a little more than five weeks ago and the spousal unit a little more than two weeks ago - neither of us has had an analog since - this stuff does work. Best of luck to you and the hubby

Thank You. I never looked at it that way. I see people reviewing juices saying how it's an all day vape so I just figured that's what I should be looking for. The mod we bought uses cartomizers so switching to different juices will be just as easy as the kr808.

I was never a forum person till we got our chickens (yes, chickens LOL) and joined a forum to make sure they got raised right with the right housing. So my hubby and I figured why not join this forum to get the right answers to our vaping questions.

Good deal for you then. I think sometimes even when they say all day vape they mean the 1 they use the most, not necessarily exclusively.

There is a wealth of info to dig through here I have found out. I am only 4 days into vaping and not a smoker trying to quit. I did quit analogs over 6 years ago and never looked back. I initially thought that an all day vape was what you did while researching but I have reconsidered. I only have my starter bottle of wintergreen but I have plans to add several more flavors to rotate through during the day. I am not tired of the one flavor at all and I probably could just vape it. For all I know there may be a better tasting menthol like flavor waiting for me to discover down the road. I do want a menthol flavor to be my main flavor. There is something about me and menthol I guess. I can't wait to expand into all those tempting flavors without all the extra calories. So just stick with it and maybe start with a high mg of nic and slowly reduce it it until you are clear of big tobacco.

There are lots of helpful folks here on ecf, read all you can, then read some more! It took me months to find my all day vape, so don't get discouraged if you don't find yours right away. There are lots of sub-forums like PIF, you'll find lots of support

I have been a menthol smoker since I started smoking when I was 15 (now 41) and I thought that would be the way to go but I find vaping menthol makes me want an analog even more so I started trying different flavors. I happen to find the fruity flavors more satisfying. My husband likes the coffee and tobacco ones better. I'm still searching for a good cherry and strawberry flavor. I just ordered those 2 from AltSmoke so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I also really enjoy the fruit stopes and watermelon from Vermillion River and I waiting for their pineapple to arrive Monday.

I usually have about 4 or 5 different batteries around me, all with different flavors in the cartos and switch all day long. I like certain flavors with coffee, so I'll vape those in the morning, but then the rest of the day, I bounce from flavor to flavor as the mood strikes, sometimes different flavors every few puffs. I call it multi-vaping!

Why limit the taste sensations to one all day long???
