Greetings and Salutations!

I'm extremely new to the vaping thing and one of those people that has to research everything. Of all the info out there, ECF has been my biggest source of knowledge. I just wanted to extend a huge thank you for the work you all have done in getting an awesome community dedicated to all things vaping. Keep up the good work!!

Welcome to the forum and good success with the vaping world.
This is the best forum for anything to do with vaping, from getting started, to best equipment, the technical things, juices, even how to make you own juice.
One of the best things about this forum is the people that are here to help everyone get off the analogs.

Welcome to ECF! There's so much info & it can be a little overwhelming getting started but thankfully there are tons of great people here that are always willing to help so tell us a lil about yourself...what's your goal, have you started vaping yet or are you about to place an order, what do you smoke & how much?

Thank you all for the warm welcome :)

I have been vaping for about a month now. I smoked Black & Milds previously and still have one on occassion but those occassions are getting fewer and further between. (mostly when I am partaking in an adult beverage :p ) As for my fave flavors...anything resembling a baked good! At the moment I'm on a cinnamon roll kick but I also like vanilla ice cream and chocolate mint. I also like anything coffee. I started at a 6mg but went up to 11mg because I was going through 3 or 4 evod tanks a day.

I'm ok with it not tasting exactly like a B&M. I quit for about a month (FTR: B&Ms + Vanilla Cloves=nfg) but ended up having issues with severe depression (also nfg) so to spare my hubby and child not to mention myself I knew I needed to go back to some sort of nicotine consumption. I had tried Blu E-Cigs before and that was really all I knew about vaping so I shelled out $160 for the starter pack plus 5 packs of cartridges. ($160 would have gotten me a provari if I had only known!) 1 week later, I had 2 busted batteries and was out of cartridges. I'm sure most of you know that each cartridge is equal to 1 pack of analogs. I don't usually math but that was 2.5 weeks of nicotine in 7 days. Of course I turned to B&Ms again until my daughter turned me on to the good stuff. Luckily we have a really awesome e cig retailer in our area and in the month I have been vaping I have probably spent close to $500 on gear and e-juice. As I stated earlier I still partake every so often but I find that I am seriously disillusioned with analogs and probably won't buy another. (Vanilla Bean Ice Cream goes so well with Pinot Noir, Bailey's and Coffee or Blanton's and Coke!!)

I would be interested to know a little backstory from some of you who have been vaping for a while...how did you guys start? What's your fav flavor and so on...

Peace, love and happy vaping!

Maia

I have also learned much from ECF and am now hoping to make my own contributions to the community. Welcome to ECF and enjoy your stay :)

I also got started by trying a Blu. Hated it. Got myself an eGo after doing some research. I vaped for a month, relapsed to analogs, and just returned to vaping on the first of this month. My favorite flavors are Blueberry and Pomegranate, then again I really havent tried all that many flavors. Fruity flavors certainly are my favorites.

Blus are great for some...my brother in law has vaped them for quite a few years but...I guess I used them too much and they just couldn't keep up.
I use the ego too (1100mah). I keep 3 batteries and 3 tanks. I have many more tanks...I went kinda crazy when I first started but I have narrowed down my favs.
I'm a pretty simple gal, not really interested in mods or whatnot. Just give me a good throat hit and a long lasting battery (not to mention a good nicotine content!) and I'm happy. :)
