Hi KimShady - Welcome aboard and gratz on finally taking the big plunge - like all of us, it was always there, just had to wait until you were truly ready. Don't beat yourself up on occassional slips it is the main goal to keep in sight and it does get easier especially now you have found some juices you like.

Thank you! You are so right! I truly wasn't ready to give up the analogs, even though I was vaping more and more. Once I was ready, I managed to find my perfect juice flavor and haven't looked back since. It's awesome. And it's turned into a great hobby. :)

Hi everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself, since I'm obviously new to ECF, although I've been "lurking" here for a good while. :)

I'm not new to vaping though, having been an e-cig user for 2 years now. I didn't give up my analogs entirely until January 15, of this year though. I'd give them up for a week or 2, only to go back as soon as I was stressed. 44 days ago though? I finally found the e-juice that was just right for me (I'm sensitive to heavy, waxy flavors and perfumy juices, and don't enjoy a warmer vape. And I also don't like tobacco flavors. I hear I'm too picky!), and I was able to stop smoking analogs, and haven't even been tempted since.

Funny thing is, that in December of 2012, my Mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 inoperable Lung Cancer - but I just couldn't manage to step away from the analogs. I tried, but like I mentioned above, I just could not find an e-juice that I could stand for long. It killed me to keep smoking, but I couldn't afford to keep buying e-juice that I couldn't use.

So, now I've managed to find a plethora of awesome Minty e-juices (thanks to reading the forums here!), and even the thought of picking up an analog makes me feel a bit queasy.

I was already quite happy with finally being able to quit the analogs, but this past Monday, my Father was diagnosed with Colon Cancer (not sure what Stage just yet, but he has a large tumor that is effectively blocking his Colon almost entirely), and even that didn't make me think of picking up an analog (stress has always been my downfall with analogs). And, of course, that cemented my decision to never, ever, pick up an analog again.

I'm thrilled to be analog free, and vaping is the only way I have been able to quit for more than a day (Save for when I was pregnant, and even then I was smoking after my kids were born). Trust me, I've tried so many times and tried so many different things. I thought that I would never be able to quit those darned analogs.

Thankfully I had my 1000mah Ego batt and several iClear 16 clearos, so once I found the right e-juice, I stopped analogs immediately. A few days later I broke old my old Lavatube and a Vivi Nova tank, and was pretty darn happy. However, a friend had an iTaste VTR, and I fell in love. So now I'm using a silver VTR with either a Unitank or a 6ml DCT.

I know this post a bit disjointed, but I am simply AWFUL at this whole introduction spiel! Hoping to make a few friends here!

KIMSHADY!!!! AWFUL? NAHHHH WAY! Welcome. IM New and was never ever a lurker!! NO WAY.. hehe anyway. Welcome and enjoy the ride. What juices do you exactly use now. Later

Heya!!!!! Thanks for the vote of confidence! I feel like I ramble half the time! ;)

I've been vaping TKO Doublemint, which is the juice that stole my heart, even if it's the only TKO juice that I can stand. It's a nice spearmint/peppermint blend with an icy cool feel, but not overly strong. I also vape Betamorph's Bliss Blend, which is this crazy, sinus clearing, altoid-like vape. Freakin' awesome. And Halo's Kringle's Curse when I want that candy cane on steroids kind of vape. I'm sure the list will grow over the next week, since I've decided that since I can only handle Mint flavors, that I must now try every mint flavor on earth, so as to save people from having to try Mints that suck. Of which there are many.

What are you vaping, my friend?

You and my wife would get along great!! She mostly does mints as well and has found the ones she loves at Smokeanywhereforpennys. They have a 5 10ml bottle pack for $17.95. She found them looking for Teaberry which she is very particular about!!!

I got 3+ years under my belt after making the change over to vaping. Smoked 1.5 packs a day for almost 25 years and was able to finally quit successfully after my first ecig experience. I am the minority though. Most go through several setups before they are able to kick analogs completely.

Welcome and visit frequently to keep up on all the latest vaping news! :)

I was a 2 PAD smoker for 25 years! Crazy how many times I tried to quit! I knew vaping would be the key, but it took 2 years to find exactly what I needed. I started with an Ego-T, and it just didn't pack enough punch. Finally quit with my iTaste VTR after finding the right juice. For 2 years, I would find a juice I liked, and then wham! It would be gone, and I couldn't find anyone that carried it. Even tried making my own juice, but never managed to get exactly what I was looking for. For me, VW and the perfect flavor made all the difference in the world. And I guess it was also the right time. Part of me was still in love with my analogs, ya know? Now I can;t even imagine lighting up an analog!

I love this place already. I've been spending alot of time on the forums over the past 24 hours! :)

Hello. I have the kringles curse. :) I first started with a sampler pack from halo e liquids. Tried two. But I need to find a way to take out the liquids instead of dumping and wasting. I can't find a syringe. Once I go through these six flavors, I'll research and find one good online site with all the good bargain juices and start trying those.

I'm really impressed with Halo's juices, but yeah, they're on the pricier side for sure! Have you checked out ECBlend yet? They have some great flavors and are pretty cheap.
