Hi everybody, I'm new to ECF but not exactly new to vaping. I have been vaping since January but finally gave up analogs about a month and a half ago. A week after i quit analogs I tried 1 and took 2 drags and tossed it, said to myself this nasty crap ain't for me anymore, I'll never go back to smoking.
I do have a question, on the center pin on the 510 connection, is it normal to have some chipping? To elaborate I have a Ego twist battery that has some chipping of what looks like a sealant, the actual metal is not chipped.
Thanks

The center post area should generally be in good shape, I've never seen chipping. There is a rubber seal/insulated around the base on the center post - but it sounds like you're describing something different. Either way if it's something that insulates the center power post from the rest of the connector body - any damage could be problematic. Cause shorts and potentially dangerous conditions.

If you can take a picture and post - there are ample numbers of experts here who can answer far better than I. -Magnus
