New to ECF!

Howdy folks! Been vaping for approx. 2 months now and proud to say that it's definitely helping me ween off cigs. I've smoked for about 10 years total, quit cold turkey for the last 2 years, and then sadly picked it back up again in the last few months. A buddy at my local watering hole told me about vaping and gave me his old eCo-T and Vision clearo that I used for a while and loved it! Since then I've purchased some better mods and tanks, and most recently built my own RSST, which has been my best vaping experience to date.

Really excited to be a part of the community!

Welcome! Congrats on deciding to quit!

The best advice I can give you while you work on weening yourself off the smokes is this:

Don't count your failures by the cigarettes you smoke, count your successes by the cigarettes you don't smoke!

I also just quit 5 weeks now and feel Great, Food has better flavor and when I smell a analog its the ashtray effect ugh..

Welcome and congratulations. Dont worry go ahead find your favorite liquid with right amount of nicotine. (Now that you still need smoking it seems you get less nic in your liquid increase a little bit.) If you still want to smoke go ahead and smoke. As devautor stated count the ones you did not smoke and dont feel ashamed to smoke. you had been largely smoking hadnt you? Now when you find right liquid, vaping will tell you it is time to quit smoking. and your cigarettes will not be the same you used to and farewell to big tobacco

Welcome to ECF!!! Congratulations on deciding to quit. That is the most important step. Now all you have to do is have fun while you figure out what works best for you. Get a setup that you really like and then start trying out as many juice flavors as you can!! Have fun with it!

Yeah, that's where I'd hope this whole vaping experience takes me, to quitting completely again. Even at this point, I'm such a fan of it that even if I gave up nicotine completely, I would still do it because there is some awesome juices out there.
