New to ECF

A quick intro. Hello everyone my name is Dru. I am 5 days analog free and counting. My longest run smoke free. Tried cold turkey, cuttin down, gum, as well as early cig-a-likes with no success. So 5 years later a local news segment on the dangers of "cloud chasing" gives me hope. This Story brought to my attention the advancements in APVs/MODs. The game has changed and im back in. Working in maintenance im well aware of the potential dangers batteries can pose. So the news story peaked my interest and the order was placed. With a ego style setup in hand and days of cuttin down on cigs, vaping my face off, and reading all the amazing stories on ECF. I am now 5 days smoke free a place i never thought id be... analog free

Welcome to ECF Congratz on 5 days analog free, I wish you all the best. I have been vaping a little while and even though I have RDA's I used them for flavor changing and mixing mostly. I decided today to get then lower end of sub ohm a try and I like it a lot nice clouds even though I'm not a chaser, great flavor with good coil builds. I get some very nice clouds of vapor from my Kayfuns and even a 30S just have to have everything set up rite. Good luck with your new gear

Congrats on the life changing choice. Keep up the good work. I'm still on an MVP 2 using an RDA(patriot clone) and tbh I'm liking it. Decided to put together a 1 ohm dual coil on it and am quite impressed. Cant wait to get my first mech to try some sub ohm coils.

Welcome Dru and fantastic on the five days. You've definitely found the greatest place for information and all the support you can handle too. There are some wonderful people here and I cannot tell you how many times someone has helped me. Good luck to you and I hope to read about your future vaping success. If it helps any, I tried everything known to man and until vaping....nothing ever worked. I've been smokefree for a bit over a year now and if I can do it.....anyone can. Welcome to ecf.

Hi dru welcome to the forum and well done.
The same sort of thing happened to me, in that I had tried a failed so many time before. It was also something I saw on the news in the U.K. that made me think that I should try this. It wasn't a negative report though it was a positive one. They had a doctor in the studio who was involved in doing comparison test with smokers and vapers and he was saying that health improves when vaping compared to smoking. Before seeing this I had been very sceptical about vaping and just saw it as smoking under a different name. But after listening to what he said about the health implication of smoking over vaping ( I suffer from high blood pressure and needed to impove my health.) I was convinced that I should try this out. So far I am feeling healthier and stamina is improving slowly.
