If you are a heavy smoker of full strength cigs most here would recommend you skip slim ecigs and start looking a the fat battery models Joye Ego and Riva 510 (for Riva 510, the newest Eastmall model which is slightly higher voltage than Ego). But I don't know what the Canada vendors have. Get some non-spam replies and posts and an hour after your 5th you'll be able to post in the Canada section of the forum and elsewhere.

If you want slim, KR808D-1 has the best hit. It's a real 3.7v device.

I know you will hear many answers but I wish I had listened right up front and saved 80 bucks on two mini starter kits. I am using the Riva 1100 Mah with Boge 2.0 cartos as well as the gotvapes fluxomizers. For me this has been the best combo I have tried. There are many style and names in this style Joye ego, Kgo, etc. I may try the Kgo battery when I have to replace. Hoosier supply had them for about 45 for the starter kit last I looked. Mini's look like an analog but the battery charge time stinks. For a heavy smoker about 1-1.5 hours before you need a charge. For a high Mah ego anywhere from 12-24 hours depending on the resistance of the carto or atty.

Good advice not wasting money on ones that look like a cigarette.

Rule of Thumb: the more it looks like the real thing, the worse the performance.

Being a heavy smoker, I would not buy anything with less battery power than a Riva/eGo. But the better choice in this category is the E-Power. Much longer lasting batteries that cost one fourth the price of Riva/Ego batteries:

Well trusted supplier: e-Power

But if I was you, based on your smoking level, I would get a good 5 volt model that will give you warmer vapor, more consistency and longer lasting batteries. I would also suggest starting out with 24mg nicotine strength liquid which is the most common level used. Here is one of the best 5 volt models on the market:

5 volt GLV 2: Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor

Read and absorb everything you can here - these guys know what they are talking about! It all seems so confusing but you'll get it - I smoked for 25 years and have not had a cigarette in over 6 weeks. I bought the 2 piece KR808D-1 from CigEasy with the pre-filled cartomizers (I get them from Vapor4Life - they have the biggest selection of flavors). Easy way to go when you are starting out, I think. Good luck to you!

I started out with a Joye 510 kit. Within a month I had replaced it with a Joye Ego kit and have been very happy with it. I ordered some 900 mah batteries to keep me going all day. If I had done more research I would have just started with the Ego and saved myself $50. This is a great place to learn. I would read as much as you can before making any purchases. Good luck!
