Hey just found the site yesterday looking up builds for the Kanger subtank mini I just purchased online and there was a plethora of information for me to soak in. Just wondering if anyone has any input on whether I should try a twisted 26 g chimney vertical build or just build it twisted the normal way.

I've not tried a chimney build on the STM. I'm pretty happy with my single-coil horizontal builds (I FINALLY got one that I've wicked well and working without dry hits!)

I tried a chimney build in a kayfun one time - it was o.k., but seemed more fiddley than I want to deal with....

Go for it - all it would cost would be a bit of wire, wick and some of your time!

welcome! you're in a great place for info on these forums - actually just modified my STM rba deck based on some info found here - drilled the sides of the chimney barrel and re-wicked 'em - going to be taking them for a drive here shortly

Welcome fellow builder! I'm running 3 28guage nichrome80 wires twisted and coiled at .35 ohms. I found the 28 gauge twisted is a super flavorful vape and quite the cloud producer!

Haven't done a vertical build in the subtank mini , with a regular build I found getting the wicking right was most of the challenge.
I did a vertical build in the goblin tank and didn't care for it.
