I've been browsing for months and finally decided to register and post. I put it all down in my bio, but here's a little about me...

Full time vaping(quit smoking) since May 1st, 2014. Dabbled with it back in 2010 when I picked up my first ecig from V2. I couldn’t kick the analogs so I went back to the dark side. Finally, after many scoldings from my 6 year old about how my lungs were turning black, I decided to switch for good. I’ve never been happier.

This time around, I started with an ego kit(Feb 2014). It worked ok for a while until I quit smoking and started using it enough to kill the battery before the end of my long workdays. Picked up a couple more ego batteries, this time c-twists, and solved that problem. Then I upgraded to the Nautilus tank. It was like jumping off a cliff after that. I quickly ordered a Vamo V5 online and while I waited for it in the mail, I was convinced at the local B&M to pick up a MVP2 since I work offshore and it can take a beating. Then in June after reading this forum I found fasttech. I wanted to try a mechanical but I figured why pay full price for an authentic when I may not like non VV/VW. Well I did. So I ordered a Nemesis clone with an Omega RDA and Kayfun.

I did a lot of research (before somebody scolds me for jumping in too fast and not being safe) and got some good 30-35 amp batteries and got to building. My first build was a 1.2 ohm just to get it down but within a couple of days I was already sub-ohming at .7 ohms. I still use my MVP a lot but now I’m hooked on the sub-ohm vaping. I’m running TOBHs between .2 and .7 ohms(dual parallel 26 gauge with cotton). I also just ordered the new stingray x and a few other toys.

My normal use gear:
VAMO V5, black chrome
iTaste MVP 2, TARDIS wrapped*
Nemesis clone, black chrome finish
Aspire Nautilus BDC x2
Aspire Nautilus mini BVC
Kayfun RBA clone
Omega RDA clone
TOBH Atty RDA clone x2

Current favorite juices:
Alice in Vapeland - April Moon, Zombie Apocalypse, Twas Brillig
Vapor Sense(local mixing vapeshop) - Vanilla Custard, Calming Cucumber, Pommegranite Acai, Red Ox
OMG - ...(strawberry sour-belt deliciousness)
5 Pawns - Gambit, Queenside

Waiting on vapemail:
Stingray X clone
TOBH Atty RDA clone
Magma RDA clone

Sorry for the length ;-)

Welcome Jonas; sounds like you've got the vaping bug alright! :D Glad you stopped lurking and joined in the fun! :thumb:

Welcome to ECF even if you've been lurking for a while... :D

Yeah... sorry... that was me lurking in the forum bushes , but in my defense, I was just doing my research before I jumped out here posting with my foot in my mouth! ;)

Looks like your well on your way! I love hearing stories like this. Congrats and that's a nice list of goodies. If you haven't tried it i would suggest giving the Stillare RDA a shot. I have a TOBH and i love it to death, but the juice well can make it a little bit of a pain to build. VAPE ON!

Thanks! Yeah, the TOBH was the first RDA that I seemed to have an easier time building on(plus I like the use of the heat sink, being from an electronics background) so I guess I kind of became fairly attached to them. I was thinking of getting a Stillare as well but just ended up passing over them. Maybe I'll reconsider. I got to checking out a Plume Veil that one of the guys at my local B&M had just got and now I'm thinking of just going that route. The airflow on it was nice and I like the way it looked de-badged.

All of the gear I use? ... No, lol, that's just the stuff I use daily. If I wasn't offshore right now I'd post a pic. I don't have 20 authentic mods like some people I've seen on here(envy :D), but I'm working on it. I had so many ego tanks, ego batteries, and bottles of ejuice that I considered building a cabinet just for vaping stuff but then I just realized it was time to condense and stick with my VV/VW and mech mods. I still can't stay out of the B&Ms though. I go in to pick up a new tank or kanthal... I walk out with 12x 30ml bottles and a bunch of stuff I really don't need. Someone has got to be putting something more addictive than nicotine in this stuff!!! Either that or they hired the best car salesmen on earth in that particular shop. Lol.

Oh, and by the way, you're actually the reason I finally registered. I've been meaning to do it for a while so I could start posting and after I saw your post asking about the Lavender Ever After by Alice in Vapeland I knew I had to chime in. I used to love lavender in a hookah so I ordered it immediately. I just got it a couple of weeks ago, and like almost all of the juices they have made for me, it was an awesome vape. I love their stuff!

Since you're local, what shops do you suggest? I haven't hit the ones in Pearland yet, but I really like Vapor Sense by NASA(awesome military discounts and in-house mixing), 31Vapers off HWY 3, and Ecig City on HWY 6 on the NW side of Houston.
