I'm using an unregulated box with parallel Sanyo Model: 18650ZY batteries, and I would like some help with choosing a tank. Currently I'm looking at the Arctic Turbo sub-ohm tank for my box. Would this work well for me? I spent a long time trying to figure out the electrical needs of this tank, but electricity isn't my forte. Thanks for any help!

If your batteries are the Sanyo UR18650ZY 2600mah they are a 5a CDR cell.
Not really suitable batteries to use with a mechanical & sub ohm resistances, they easily could be pushed beyond a 'safe' amp drain.

Mechanicals have no saftey features other than the one between the users ears.
If electricity isn't your forte a mechanical isn't a good/safe idea until you learn at least basic battery saftey & selection.

I'd suggest a regulated power device, built in protection features, adjustable power output etc..

+1 to @Topwater Elvis . Don't use those batteries, and unregulated mods are for people who know what they're doing. In addition, using a tank with premade coils does not, in my opinion, offer the versatility an unregulated mod requires. If you're going to vape straight battery voltage, you really need the ability to adjust coil values. It's the only way to change wattage.

When using your " Tobeco Velocity dual coil @ .22 ohms " with an unregulated parallel box you are drawing near 19amps from a pair of *5.2amp* CDR batteries, not at all safe or a good idea.
* assuming your batteries are Sanyo UR18650ZY 2600mah *

4.2v /.22Ω = 19.09a
4v / .22 = 18.1a
3.8v / .22 = 17.2a
3.6v / .22 = 16.3a
2.8v /.22 = 12.7a

My friend built me the box, its more his thing. I'm sure he built it with safety features, but I need to check up on which ones he used. Currently I'm running a Tobeco Velocity dual coil @ .22 ohms, so I'm wondering what the difference would be for this tank. I'm not a heavy vaper, I rarely chain vape.

I wouldn't be so sure, if he built is as unregulated then he probably didn't build it with safety features as no unregulated mods use them. Also Im pretty sure, like 99%, that the safety features are part of the chip in a mod that makes it so you can adjust power.
