Hello and welcome @BmT1 !!
What is you're current setup?
I see a lot of people start with a Kanger but, I cant really help here. I started on a Mech and still use a Mech but I am not going to suggest what I have. I dont know crap about boxes or tanks so I will tag @suprtrkr , he may be able to suggest something.Hi Vesuvius. At the moment I have no setupAs I said, I am trying to quit regular smoking and now I'm doing my research to see what is the best option for me. I can see there are a lot of option regarding e-cigarette. What would you recommend to me for a beginner setup? Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the board. For beginners trying to quit, I usually recommend the iStick30 and an Aspire Nautilus tank. This is a decent quality rig, without a lot of extras, and not too expensive. It is low power, so it doesn't make giant clouds, but it works really well getting people off the smokes; there are a lot of success stories. The only problem with it is it's a "disposable," that it, it has a fixed battery and when the battery goes-- they all do sooner or later-- the whole thing is trash and you need a new one. For this reason, I prefer removable battery mods. That way you can just get a new battery and keep going. Also, the iStick is not really powerful enough for big cloud subohm vaping, but this is not a handicap for a new vaper because that generally isn't where people start.Kanger look nice. It is not to big, suitable for a girl and seems pretty easy to used. I will have this in mind. Thank you![]()

The Knager Topbox kit is more expensive, but it will do the same job as the combo I mentioned above, plus a lot more. That is, it's a lot more powerful and flexible. It will make big cloud and tolerate subohm coils when adjusted right. It is usually the "step up" I recommend for people who aren't getting enough from the iStick/Nauti any more. However, there isn't any reason to not start there if you want to.
It is. I think that combo has saved more smokers than all others combined. It's not my vape, and a lot of people move on from it, but for beginners, doing MTL, it just rocks. The istick/Nauti was what I was trying to think of. I see that recomended a lot for beginers and from what I have seen people say about it, it is a good setup.
