New to making Juice and need help

Hello. I just made my first batch of ejuice last night. The recipe is shown in the picture. Unfortunatly, it doesn't have a lot of flavor. Everything I have read online says not to add much more flavor, because more doesn't always mean more flavorful. Any suggestions? What did I do wrong? I also added about 20 drops of sweetner to a 120ML bottle.

One thing recipes don't tell you is the Steeping time.. How long you need to let the eliquid age in order for the flavors to blend and to let the flavors come out.

It is vapable as it is, but in a week or two it should be better.

If you try a simple 1 fruit recipe, it should not need to steep (much).

It's probably wise to mix 10ml batches at different flavour percentages rather than 120ml to find your liking .

I would agre. This being my first batch was kind of a mistake. was going for 60 ML, but mixed wrong and had to buff up t 120. I will have to work on 10 next time as you suggested. TY

Yes that probably needs steeping.

What are you vaping it in? The equipment, amount of vapor, wattage, etc will make a difference in flavor.

Enough to produce a lot of flavor then. Might just need steeping. It is around 7 1/2% flavor from the recipe so should be sufficient. Some times a small amount of sweetener helps too.

Hello and welcome to ecf. First thing is that 120ml of anything will take longer to steep. If you have a smaller bottle, like a 15ml or a 30ml move some of the 120 ml mix into it. That portion will steep faster. You can also try a hot bath(I usually don't recommend this) run hot tap water into a bowl and put the 15ml or 30ml bottle into it with the cap on tight. Allow the water to cool, shake and repeat a couple of times. This may speed steeping up a bit for you.

2nd thing is the flavors you have picked usually have a very long steep time. Tobaccos, coffee, dessert, cheesecake, creams take at least 2 weeks to come to full flavor. Good rule of thumb is the darker the ejuice or flavoring the longer it will need to steep.

Good news is there are loads of shake and vape recipes to use while you wait. Do you have any other flavors?

Also, who makes the flavoring you bought? Sometimes it makes a huge difference.

i.e. TFA has a cheescake graham crust flavor that can be vaped almost immediately. It does benefit from a steeping but its not bad as a shake and vape. PM for recipe.

No fridge until you start to vape it. I suggest you putting some into smaller bottles(or 1 for use in filling your tank) and after steeping the rest can go in fridge. Just remember to allow it to come to room temp and shake it good when you fill your smaller bottle.

If you have TFA strawberry ripe and some marshmallow you can use 3% strawberry to 1.5% marshmallow and vape immediately. Its not bad and continues to improve as you vape it.

A couple of weeks up to a couple of months. The recipe in the pic doesn't show the brand of flavors, it makes a big difference. Did you measure, weight or use drop count for your flavors?

Could take up to 2 weeks for a 30ml bottle.....much longer for a 120ml bottle....hence the suggestion to move some of the 120ml bottle into a smaller bottle.

You could try mixing the berry mix (TFA) @ 8 - 10% if any steeping is needed it would only be a couple of days.
