If your mileage equals mine, you will find that the Riva batts don't last quite as long on a charge as the eGo batts. That's because the Riva is unregulated and starts at 3.7v and dies slowly toward around 3.2v or so before flashing. While it's in the upper range, you get higher wattage for a given atty.

The eGo batts (except the 1100mah model) are pulse width regulated to 3.4v until just about cuttoff. You get the same current draw from charge to cutoff, hence more vaping time.

Welcome & congrats on the decision to improving your lives. It's great when a husband & wife team up. You got built in moral support.

My only advise is make sure you have plenty of extra cartos or atties/carts & plenty of juice around. If you got a kit each, you should be OK for batteries. What I'm saying is don't let running out of something set you back to analogs. Keep up the good work.

I'm 4 months in after 45 + years of smoking with no back slides. 4 months ago, I'd have said "impossible." Have spares!

My husband and myself are now on day 4, no more cigarettes! I have had our Riva 510's since last April, using them as a cut down, and finally we made the decision to stop! I can't say enough great things about it! The difference is amazing. I have read alot here and alot of it was helpful. Thank you!

Welcome and congratulations to you and your husband. My first month of being smoke-free has just flown by. Keep up the good work.:)
