It is easier when you have someone quitting with you, less tempted to "cheat" and have a smoke.

Congrats to the folks I have seen who have started vaping and but down the butts.

Like I have said to other folks don't get discouraged if you do fall off the wagon and have a cig. Focus on the fact that it has been a while since you had a coffin nail. Having 1 cig a week is better than a pack a day. Going 4 days or 4 weeks without a cig is an accomplishment. Also you'll find the longer you go between having a cig the more nasty they will start to taste.

I know with him doing the same, I don't want to, and vice versa. Had an interesting visit from the in-laws on New Years, and they smoke. They didn't care for the idea of smoking outside, but our house our rules! Not even going to attempt to switch them, because when we got our kits, got mother in-law one too. She would rather tell us we aren't nonsmokers because of the nicotine, yet she won't give it chance and would rather smoke 3 packs a day..... Sorry just a rant! However very happy to have not smoked ourselves!

Rant away. Even though she says your not nonsmokers, I'll say it "You guys are nonsmokers!" Next time you see her tell her some guy named DummyMe says you're non-smokers. If you want, later on, when cigs have no longer have a hold on you, you can start cutting the nic down. Just do at a pace that works for you. Don't let anyone bring you down, especially not a mother-in-law. (Mine drives me crazy & she lives on the back of my property.)
