I am new to the RDA scene. I heard people say stuff about fasttech.com They have a ton of rda really cheap it says doge style dark horse style though. Im guessing they are clones? But are they any good? anyone ever buy from there?

LOTS of folks buy from FT...if you want to wait a month for delivery.

Many people shop at fasttech. It does take extra time to ship (Up to a month, most experience a 2 week transit though). Unless the item says it is authentic in the title, it is a clone - fasttech does have authentic items though, but you will see it in the item title.

Whether an item is any good depends on the item. Check reviews, check discussions (both clearly listed on each item) to find out what other users have experienced with each item. That is your best way to gauge if an item is "any good". I have personally had good experiences with fasttech, but I am very thorough in my research on each item I buy.

^^ This. Quality can be hit and miss, and since they usually carry more than one version of a clone, it can be confusing to wade through and find a good item. I've bought from FT in the past and will likely continue to.

I've had outright horrible clones, and some that were top performers.

Be very leery of anything that has a gold plating on it like the cheap Plume Veil's, a friend of mine picked up a clone and all the gold plating flaked off of the deck. Stick with stainless steel when you can.

I picked up an Origen 2 from FT and it would cut the upper o-ring when the top cap was put on. I put a little chamfer on the air holes with the Dremel and that solved the cutting and its whistle problem.

Most of the time the Discussion Section has more useful info than the reviews do.
