uhm, so youre looking for genesis style atomizers, correct?

assuming im correct...:D
i started off with my rsst. lots of info and builds on youtube, and right here in this forum. simple and easy to understand. with black friday sales, ive seen em right around $20 from US vendors. i think maybe 101 vape or vaporbeast. cant remember. haha. but with the provari, i believe you have to be at around 1.2 ohms for it to fire, if resistance is any lower the circuitry might cut off. i say MIGHT because i've read that some have got their provari to fire at 0.9 ohms. but i have not/do not own a provari...so you'd have to have someone else comment on that.

i know you said you had a friend helping you, right? what tank did he suggest? is he going to help you build it?

The RSST is a very beginner friendly genesis style tank. Personally I love my drippers over the tanks since i have more control over every aspect. The Igo-L is a very good beginner dripper. Or if you are looking for something new, check out the youde AGA-t3. It is a genesis style tank that the wick is located in the center of the device and they say it can be used for all types of wicks.

The Rocket is a dead cheap, perfectly useful, reliable Kayfun-like tank - and pulling out two sections & the chimney let's you use it as a dripper. Almost anything else Kayfun-like is going to be many times easier than anything with mesh, or anything with NR/R wire builds like a Terminator-C or Ithaka.

I'm new to rebuildables and was wondering what you guys could recommend as a first tank for me? I'll be using my ProVari 2 I just picked up. I don't know much about clones, but maybe a clone of something high end if it's easy enough?

IMO, the A7 is one of the best rebuildable dripping atomizer especially considering how inexpensive it is. I know you're requesting a tank, but it can be a bit easier to learn on a dripper, then take the skills acquired to a tank. If you master the A7, then a Kayfun type tank would be a logical upgrade path, and they are fine tanks indeed. Also the A7 can be upgraded to be a tank of sorts with the addition of the A7-oid drip tip. Hope that helps.
