I have one. Works fine in wattage but forget temp control. The bb it comes with is, IMO too small, but I do like the bbb in its place

My thoughts? I find it doubtful you'd be particularly thrilled with this. I could be wrong, but if I had funds and I was buying something for you, based on what I know, this would NOT be what I would purchase.

If you didn't find the pico stylish enough for you, I might buy you this: Vaporesso Nebula 100W TC Starter Kit | Includes Veco Plus Sub-Ohm Tank (of course, I'm not buying.. you are.. )

My 2 bits, if you don't want to carry extra battery go with dual 18650 mod. I cannot rec Smok. Too many qc issues.

I don't usually recommend them either, not as a new setup... I guess they do have some major value for the price points, but that's way more mod than I'm ever going to need/want, and I don't need the hassles.

That said, you have to go with what you like/calls out to you.... Okay, a bit mystical sounding, but.... I almost didn't buy the Steampunk Nano Tesla because it looked nicer than something I *should* own, but I'm SO glad I overcame my reservations.... I love that mod, it's perfect for me.

But yes, do know that smok can have QC issues, they seem happy to warranty, but they've probably had some practice by this point....

Until Smok resolves the myriad of QC issues with their mods, I'll continue to buy and use their tanks on other other companies' devices.

Now I need a charger. Preferably a 2 battery. I see them from $9 to $40. What's what in chargers?

Nitecore and Xtar both make 2 battery chargers that are pretty popular around here, although spending a few more dollars for a 4 bay charger will likely save you from buying one down the road.
