Hey all. Just signed up and I like the idea of beig able to share my vape stories and also hear some of yours.

A little about my vaping experience...
I smoked cigarettes(ew) for close to 15 years before I discovered these beautiful things. About 2 months ago, a friend of mine had an evod and I mentioned to him that I liked it. 2 weeks later was my birthday and he bought me my first ecig! That's true friendship! Lol. Since then I have been CHAIN vaping and consuming every bit of knowledge I can on mods, atomizers, juices etc. in doing so, I have kind of become obsessed. I actually just ordered my first variable wattage device(itazte vtr) after watching a ton of reviews on different devices(mech mods etc). I'm looking forward to being able to sub ohm and also plan on using the nimbus with it in the future. I like the idea of building my own coils. I could go on and on. I hope I have some kindred souls in here as far as being obsessed with vaping or I'm going to look crazy!

Juice I'm using..... Well I haven't bought a lot, some I'm no expert. But I have been using bobas bounty from alien vision and I love it. I also have a few home brews(lol) from some fellow vapers.

So that's my introduction!!! I look forward to building on my own knowledge, helping other newbs like myself, and just talking to ppl with like interests. So what's up?!

Welcome to ECF and congrats on your quitting analogs. Get your post count up to 5 so you can see the rest of the forums, there are a lot of people here with some great info and a section dedicated to RBA & RDAs. Now that I've rebuilt Protank coils, that's the next step I'm taking... I've only been at this for 5 weeks. :)

It sounds like you've got good research material to get you started, this place takes it the next step.

Hi Chase,

Welcome to ECF! That is a heck of a way to start, sounds like you jumped right in. You are going to LOVE the VTR, it is awesome (especially if you get one without issues)! I love mine, now that I have a good one (there were some issues with the first couple production runs). My first VW mod is/was an eVic (also a great device), but now I have *mostly* moved on to the VTR and the Legend. Absolutely loving them, my only problem is the SO has taken to calling this my new "obsession" ...

Anyway, enjoy! If you have any questions or problems down the road, chances are good someone here has already gone through it and can provide insight/help.

Again, welcome!

Welcome & congratulations! I'm glad your friend introduced you to the vaping world. Now you can try to do the same for some of your other friends  Yeah it really can become an obsession at first. How can anyone NOT get super excited about it? But don't worry, after a while it settles down into a nice comfortable...umm...obsession. Enjoy!

Welcome to the forum, fellow NC'er! I have been vaping on the VTR for over a month now, and I absolutely love it! I think that a lot of us are obsessed with all the gadgets and technology-I know that I am. Boba's is great stuff, but I'm vaping what has become a favorite of mine...Vanilla Tobacco from Dark City Vapor out of Black Mountain, NC. Bills' liquid has never varied, and he has good prices! His Hillbilly Heaven and Freaky are also great! I usually vape it on my VTR at 4.5 and 8.5 with a 70/30 mix. Lots of flavor and lots of vaping clouds!
Good luck and again-welcome!

Welcome and congratulations on quitting.

Experimenting with different types of e-juice is quite the adventure. I recommend buying a few sample bottles from a few different places until you find what works for your tastes. Having a few different varieties on hand will also allow your liquid to steep, as many e-juices need to sit for a week or so. I am fairly new to all of this myself, so I too am still in the process of sampling different liquids.

As for being obsessed, well, I would not worry about looking crazy. Besides, looking crazy can work to your advantage in certain situations. What you will find here is a solid community of kind, helpful, and supportive people. It seems that most of us here (novices and veterans alike) are quite passionate about vaping, so I believe you're definitely in good company.

Best of luck!

Welcome aboard! Yes I am obsessed as well but have to keep looking at my spread sheet. So far it is going to be 58 days till I break even but as far as consumables (cartomizers/fluid) I hit the black today. I do need to step it up a notch because I am not getthing the same satisfaction especially knowing that there are so many options out there.

I have found out that the Quit Smoking Banners and the spread sheet I have are a great motivation tool and should will keep me on the wagon away from those :evil:analogs:evil:!

Hey All, just found this thread and very happy to see fellow NCers on line. I'm a relative newbie to vaping, only been at it for 3 months and just now starting to settle down into a comfortable assortment of gear. Now using the Vamo V5 received Monday and very satisfied with the acquisition. Works better than the iTazte and Joyetech's I have, the variable power feature so far seems to give me a more consistent vape when using different tanks and juices. Only negative is that it's too big to carry around. Still wondering when I'll finally stop buying more gadgets and start seeing some savings!
