Good choices on the twist and nova/dct to start. Better than a lot of us started on.

thats a great choice to start vaping on. Im always recommending twists and vivi to new vapers it saves a lot of trial and error going through crappy gear.
oh ok cool, what voltage should i set my twist for the 2.8ohm vivi and the smoktech dct
I'm in MN...spent some time in the Gulf area. Love the food.
At 2.8 ohm I would go up in voltage. Never had a twist, I think they go to 4.2 or so? Try it up there.
Definitely a nice kit to start with. My twist just arrived today, and I'm loving it a whole lot.

This is a power chart that might help. You want to stay pretty much in the green areas, so you should probably be somewhere between 4.0 and 4.6, depending on personal preference. In my morning of experimentation, I've been finding a bit of a burnt taste if I go to high.

Personally, I like the 2.8 ohm heads at 4.8-5.0V. With the DCT, it depends on the resistance of the carto.
ok the dct is dual 1.5 low res i think, and the chart has to be off because for 2.8 on my vivi it says 6 volts cant be right and for my 1.5 smoktech it says 7 volts

If your smoktech 1.5 is dual, it is really a 3 ohm unit (I believe that is correct...)
I use 2.4 ohm heads on my miniNova and Nova tanks and find 4.0-4.5v to be a good range for me. I could probably push it harder, but I figure don't stress the system, just take another puff...

Cost friendly is different to everyone.
You are totally at the right time, LOTS of exciting new toys. Give a price range, you will get suggestions.
