Hey guys! Glad to be a part of the ever growing vaping community and to report my 3 weeks of vaping and 3 weeks without cigarettes!! W00t! Anyways, I went to one of my local shops and got an eGo starter kit and have loved every moment of it. I was able to start out with 2 atomizers, 2 batteries, and several tips, so starting up was super easy... Now I'm running into the situation where I want to have a larger, higher capacity battery and was told by my shop employees that I should check out this forum to try and sell my old set up and go with the tank/carto and the upgraded battery... I was looking @ upgrading to the ProVari unit. My only issue though is that to post in the classifieds here you need 1 year, 300 posts and/or supported member status, all of which I do not have. Anyone have any other suggestions as to where I might could pawn off these eGos so I can upgrade my rig?

Thanks all!
Will

I would also try some Boge 2.0ohm cartomizers before you ditch your eGo. Even though the eGo has a fairly low voltage at 3.3-3.4V, its still not a bad battery. Try some good cartos and I think youll be pleasantly surprised. An atty and cartridge can be very inconsistant and needs to be refilled frequently. Cartos are alot more consistant and hold alot more juice so you can refill alot less often. The Boge 2.0ohm cartos are the most popular cartos for an eGo and they work well. Give them a try

Just my opinion, but whatever you get going forward you will want to have a backup...the Ego is a good, reliable backup. I would hold on to the Egos.

I'd have to agree here, I'd hold on to the ego, I have one too and it has never let me down, been thinking about getting a vv to add to my ermm hobby ;)

Yes it's always good to have a backup. You cannot sell ecigs on Ebay. You might be able to on Craig's List - not sure.

Have you even tried what most people use on Ego - LR cartomizers??? Boge 2 ohm - the most popular cartos on 450mah+ 510-threaded devices. And you can also get carto tanks. I recommend you try juices like 80PG/20VG or around there.

Honestly, I think it'd be hard to find someone on ECF other than in the New Members Forum who needs an extra Ego. We all buy backups for our backups. :)

If you're interested in trying a cheap, intermediate upgrade before you go all out, you could pick up a KGO 1100mah 3.7v kit and some Boge 2 ohm cartomizers. The combined increase in volume and warmth of vapor is significant from a stock Ego with SR cartos or atomizers.

Hey guys, thanks for all of your replies. Since making the original post I followed all of your advice and picked up the low res cartomizers and a tank. I am VERY pleased now with the amount of vapor my ecig is giving. My main reason for bumping to the new battery was because as I stated I did get 2 eGos, and while these units are doing their job perfectly, I thought there may be something on the market that may work a bit better. Only reason I say this is that by the end of the day with heavy use (as I most always do) I am left with one eGo battery dead, and the other one about half (I guess) full. Also at the moment I have been carrying both units, and my bottles of liquid, and charger. It would be nice to have one unit, maybe one extra tank of different liquid/different carto etc, and one backup battery. I definitely (after hearing all of your feedback) think I will hold on to at least one of these eGos as a backup, but wanted to try and eliminate some of the cost of the upgrade by getting rid of at least one unit (and possibly helping my aunt quit smoking! =) ).

Thanks again,
Will
