Hello all. I've been vaping and analog free for almost 4 months (11/4) to be exact. My daily vape is an iStick with an Eleaf Lemo. I usually run it around 13-17 watts at 1.5 ohms. My at home setup is a K101 with an Igo-w with dual coils at .6 ohms. I've actually been diying my own juice for about 3 weeks now. So far so good!

My story is a different one. I was a smoker for almost 21 years and decided one day that I wanted to quit. Here's where things get interesting. I work at a tobacco shop and sell cigarettes and cigars for a living. We also sell what most call gas station vaporizers and cig a likes. My first setup was a vapor x starter kit and that was enough to help me quit. The same week I bought my wife a Vision spinner along with 2 mini protank 3's and we both were done with analogs from that point. So now I look at going to work as a living testiment that quitting is possible rather than just for a paycheck. I can't convert them all but I've been able to make enough of an impact to where the owners are shocked at the amount of money that tobacco products aren't making.

I actually started my vaping journey at a tobacco shop with an X20 Battery, clearomizer, and some of their menthol liquid. I just left the doctors office with a worse than expected visit and I had enough so I bought the first "e-cig" I came across.

And the last appointment I had improved my BP by about 20 points, lost a few pounds and my lungs sounded clear. All of this with asthma I had been having trouble with since I was about 15-16 the same time I had started smoking go figure. Now at 37 I work out don't get out of breath and am just a happier person in general. I still go to the tobacco shop once in awhile just to "browse" their vaping supplies and answer any questions the smokers have about my rig (Reo/RM4) and hopefully help someone the way I got help.

It's the one time I can say something good has come out of a tobacco store, glad to hear there are people who work at them who feel the same. Vape on!!! :vapor:

Welcome and I think that's impressive that you could quit smoking while working at a tobacco shop good for you.
Thanks a lot brother. I was 3 weeks in before someone pointed that out. So obviously i had got all I wanted out of analogs. I forgot to mention that I was a pack to 2 packs a day depending on whether or not I was drinking. My wife also reminded this week thats its been over 4.5 months since I've had any alcohol. The only thought that came to mind was that I'm getting old!

Glad to hear about the health improvements that vaping has brought you. We both are around the same age. I'll be 35 this coming Monday and starting smoking around 14-15 years old. I've gained a few lbs but I'm lacking the motivation to work out. I'm sure it'll come with time.

Welcome aboard
So, you are chasing away business at the shop you work in. I'd suggest that you either do what you are paid to do or find another job before you get fired.
Convincing folks to quit using tobacco is admirable probably to everyone but your boss.

You're probably right but to be honest, I'm moving to Florida in few months anyway! I'm in Central Va. area so there's only 1 vape shop within a 20 min drive of where I work. Granted, they are still making money but, it's taking longer to move more cartons. It's funny to hear him say that such and such hasn't been by in a few weeks. I wonder if they found somewhere to buy cigs cheaper. All I can do is shrug my shoulders.
