Hi! As the title says, I'm new to the forum, but not new to vaping. I first tried the Volt e-cigs, and played with flavors and cutting back on smoking, et cetera, et cetera. Then I ran out of cartridges, and that was the end of that for me. My husband, Swordsage, kept up with it more, which is ironic because he's always vaped at 0mg; he just started to support me trying to quit smoking.
That was a couple years ago, and then this year hit. It was a doozy, but the relevant part is that I promised my then-5-year-old that I would quit smoking, and I did. I used the gum, which was ok. Then one day, when the really horribly crappy part of the year had finally been resolved, Swordsage and I happened to be taking a different way back to our home. We were stopped at a light, and one of us noticed a vaping shop on the corner and pointed it out to the other. We were giddy with relief from the earlier resolution, and decided on a whim to stop in and see what they had.
Oh, WOW. Things had come a long way since we last did any sort of vaping. We walked out with an eGo-T and a Kanger tank for me, plus a Candy Cane flavor for me in 6mg. We've become semi-regulars since then, and gotten more vaping stuff online. Swordsage is kind of obsessive when he finds something he likes, so he's been researching equipment. I'm more interested in flavors, since I've gone down to 0mg so I can share flavors with him, so I point some of them out to him.
I started out looking forward to special packages in the mail because of a perfume oil company I get stuff from occasionally. Now, because vaping purchases are individually cheaper, I get more packages in the mail far more often, yay!
Anyway, the point I was trying to make here is... Hi!
