I am new to the scene and have had the screwdriver for two weeks.

I need to play around with different juices and hope to find one that is similar to Marlboro red. Right now I have 30 mils of e-wicked 24mg nic.. but I am not that pleased with it. I don't know exactly what I want to try next.. but I have been loking around. I am thinking about getting Marlboro that I found in the e-liquid forum but I can't remember which company. I have wondered if the Tennessee cured from JC taste like a Marlboro.

Anyway, I am happy with the throat hit and vap production.. I just was wondering If anyone had any suggestions on good juice and if anyone has run acroos any negatives with the screwdriver, that I can be aware about? Thanks,
Tom:evil:

Welcome to the scene. First, give up. There, that was easy.

After a while you'll realize you can't reproduce a "memory" of what you though Marlboro Reds tasted like. After a few month, bum a Marlboro Red from somebody and you'll be so disgusted you won't want to duplicate the taste.

Search for a flavor you like. It may not even be tobacco. I smoked menthol but they never had a flavor to me. And now they're just plain filth. No, I'm not putting cigarettes down, honest! That's how they taste after you vape and your senses realign. A menthol vape is a pure, clean, clear experience.

I'd recommend a company like heaven-gifts or Cignot or healthcabin. Heaven-gifts sells 44 flavors but they had 10ml bottles for $3.50. You can easily order a handful of flavors to try. Order every cigarette flavor and give it a try. Each has it's own unique quality. Winston is my choice for what I feel a "cigarette" tastes like in my mind's eye. I'm still searching for a sweet delicious "tobacco" flavor. I loved the old Tennessee Cured from Johnson's Creek. Need a replacement for that.

Try everything that catches your fancy. Go ahead throw in a Coca Cola. Try their coffee. Eventually you'll learn e-cigs are not tobacco. They can taste like anything you want from Sirloin Steak to Pretzels.

Welcome! And enjoy a new world of flavor...

Well I never was an analog Marlboro smoker (I'm Canadian, they're too pricey/ I am used to Virginia tobaccos since that's what we smoke here)
I never liked the taste of them, but when I vape my 18 mg Marlboro juice I love it, so they will not taste the same at all. I have tried Winston and it's fairly close to a Canadian Cigarette but to achieve the same flavor from an analog it would have to be the best tasting cigarette in the world. Plus, this doesn't taste like it's actually burning.. More like a very subtle woody taste.

Don't get me wrong, I love Winston and Marlboro liquids, they just don't taste like the real thing.

I hope some day soon this milestone can be overcome because unlike most people, I enjoy the taste from the real deal alot and I mean ALOT, lol. (I am also a Guinness lover so figure that out)

I just don't want to kill myself slowly with them so I guess I will have to deal with menthol that's really mint and Marlboro liquid that doesn't really taste like a Marlboro.

In the end I was disappointed with this aspect of e-cigs but at least there are some decent flavors out there that will do the trick. I've heard rumors that analog cig companies might be making their own liquids in the future, but we'll see how the laws pan out and if they label ingredients!

Just curious but I watched some news footage about a week back that said PV's were illegal in Canada and Australia. I've devoted my concern to the US but just wondering what the deal is and how it's effected your ability to obtain supplies. Part of me thinks that since most US states have essentially decided to put little or no effort into enforcing anti-marijuana laws that even if legislation were passed against PV's that they wouldn't actually devote resources. Which of course would be awesome if we didn't have to order via internet!

"I'm still searching for a sweet delicious "tobacco" flavor"

Daffy, try Kent. Too sweet for me, but Hubby loves it.

Thanks! I think I will. I've never smoked Kent so I wouldn't have tried it otherwise. Why in the world would Kent be sweet? I just got in 19 different flavors from different places. Don't laugh! You never know when you're going to run across something wonderful.

One of the flavors is Janty Marlboro. I remembered really loving the taste of the original carts.

P.S. There's always RY4 until something better comes along!
P.P.S. Just tried Dekang (heaven-gifts) lemon and black tea. Both winners. Lemon it not an everyday vape. Tastes like lemon wedge candy, but without the sweetness. Black tea reminds me of Lipton tea in a can. They work well together, too! Would buy both again.

We all thought we'd prefer to vape what we smoked. I smoked menthol for 32 years. Right now, I'm alternating between cream (mixed with vanilla and coconut) and doublemint. All of my tobacco flavors are gathering dust.

When I first started vaping and was trying to create a "real cigarette" taste I found the cigar flavor from LightCigUSA.net and then the camel and RY2 flavors. I smoked them separately and mixed them with menthol and they got me through the transition from from cigarette to PV.

Although people will tell you over and over again, about how your taste buds will change, it's almost unbelievable until it happens to you.

"Why would Kent be sweet?" Dunno. Makes no sense, but it is. He loves it.

We both needed "something that didn't taste like a cigarette" to get off analogs. We vaped a lot of fruity and candy ones. (Butterscotch and cherry were my favorites. He liked lemon and cherry) Also, I think the assortment of flavors appealed to me. After about 6 months in, we decided to try some tobacco flavors. Sold off the fruit and candy in the classifieds. We're using only tobacco (and vanilla sometimes) now. Funny how we did it the opposite of most on here.

We too, have about 5 tobacco flavors that were use all the time and a large assortment that we got samples of just to try. There are very few we don't like enough to use at least the 30ml bottle of.

Whatever you like, stick with. Until you like something different ;) Do what works for you. :)wub: Flue cured)

I used Lorann's spearmint and bubble gum and the flavors were spot on perfect. Hated both because after a while it's like chewing the same piece of gum over and over and over...

I was a menthol smoker for 20+ years. So, naturally I had no idea what menthol tasted like. Any and every menthol and mint I've tried I've liked. It's so superior to the real thing.

It's not just taste. When I walk though the breakroom at work, the smell of food drives me mad. I want to walk up to people and ask what they're eating! "I'll have what she's having," has never been more true!

LOL... I'm not there with the smell thing yet.. but I can't wait til I do. I miss being able to smell and taste things like I did when I was a kid. I have been smokin for the better part of 25 years and beyond.
I am glad to hear that you have reacquired that and look forward to the day that I can say so , myself.

Sincerely,
Tom
