Hello everyone - I just bought my first e-cigarette (Model 510-T). Trying to get rid of the analogs. I started vaping on Friday. Two things I noticed are I don't like the taste of the e-liquid in my mouth (So, i still smoke upto 5 analogs a day) and more liquid ends up in the end of the cartridge and my mouth than the amount that goes for vaping. Can any one suggest me a better cartridge for a 510-T. Thanks in advance.

There's a certain learning curve in vaping. From all the different sized batteries (larger last longer between charges), to different resistance cartos/ atty's. (lower usually means hotter and more vape.)

Just learning how to fill a cartridge/carto/ tank and keep them from leaking takes some trial and error.

And many of us didn't just quit smoking but gradually found our own 'sweet spot' for vaping and finally dropping the analogs totally.

Hi, Welcome to ECF & congratulations on your decision! Best thing I can suggest is, if possible get a box of Boge SR 3.0 Ohm cartomizers, and several flavors/nicotine strengths of e-liquid in sample size bottles. Filling & topping off the cartos is pretty simple; there are several youtube videos for different methods, any of which will work just fine. Once you get the hang of it & find the juice you like you'll be off to the races! (I've never had much luck with the 3-pc setups and fortunately I didn't have long to have to fool with 'em. The cartomizers are just a lot less trouble!

Best of luck, & Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Just my 2 cents but.....I'd have to agree with most of them that cartomizers are the way to go. I have an eGo-W clearomizer that I just got, and I'm having the same problem you have with the T tanks. I've never had such problems with my cartos. Like others have said, make sure that you blow the excess out after you fill them, this will help prevent getting a mouthful of e-liquid.

Also, I would suggest getting some prefilled carto sampler packs. This will let you try several different flavors and if you properly clean them, you will have some cartos to fill with your preferred flavors later. Once you've found a flavor or two you really like, you can buy the e-liquid in larger quantities and switch to carto tanks.

It took me almost a month of vaping to:

1) find juice I could vape all day
2) find a setup I liked that was different from what my 510-t came with. Many are fine with the clear plastic tanks, but I wasn't. I didnt quit until 20 days ago.

I smoked for that first month because it just wasn't satisfying to me. I tried everything I could get my hands on. Cartomizers, Clearomizers, Tanks / Cartomizers, Attys and Dripping. I had to find what worked for me and once I did, it was easy peasy.

Point is; find something that works for you. My transition was

Stuff that came with my kit (the little plastic tank cartridges) -> Cartomizers -> Cartomizer / Tank Setup -> Stardust Cartomizer / Tank thing (I honestly still dont know what it is) -> Clearomizer.

I ordered some new liquid samples. After I started vaping as wendallb said I didn't have a drop of liquid in my mouth and also in the top of the catridge. I noticed my 510T leaking before but after taking steady long draws the leaking also stopped and since then I haven't smoked an analog. I guess I had my last analog. I didnt have any urges since then. Thanks again for the members at ECF. I think I am ready for my banner on the bottom :).
