Been vaping now for about a week and can honestly say that I wish I would have known about it years ago. I was a smoker for about 20 years and tried many of the "quit smoking" methods many of you have tried but this seems to be the one that is actually working. Don't be surprised to see a bunch of new threads with my name attached to them as I have alot to learn.

40 years of smoking a pack a day. I'm glad thats over with and happy e-cigs are an option for us, that works. It wasn't so long ago all we had was patches and Chantrix.

Welcome, and yes you have a lot to learn. I was surprised e-cigs had so many features, options, unlike the crappy one I bought from the tobacco shop. Don't be surprised if you take that money your saving on analogs and spend it on vaping.

Welcome pherse
I have been vaping a little over a week now myself. I started out smoking and vaping and cut down to about (5) gigs in a few days. I am smoke free now for (2) days and thoroughly enjoying it. I get a craving now and then but it only lasts a few seconds. I just pick up my PV and think happy thoughts lol. ECF is a great place for info and the people are very friendly and supportive here. If you have a question just ask. Someone will chime in with an answer. I have asked some dilly's and no one has called me a dummy yet. lol

Hi all and welcome. Everyone here goes through much the same things you are going through. It is worth it. 40+ years smoking pack a day. The "marlboro man", yea right. Like you I wish I wish I had known about vaping before or in my case taking it seriously. I looked at it as a fad. My mistake.

Great bunch of people here. Lots and lots of info. We all get overwhelmed. Get to know your way around. Search, learn, ask questions, take it easy on yourselves,

......enjoy life.
