I own one manual Lea that I bought on sale and I never use it. I had a KGO kit and gave it away. I just don't like manuals, either, Star. Maybe it's a "chick" thing?

I dunno, seems there are plenty of folks on both sides of the fence. My personal reasoning is: I want it to feel natural and somewhat similar to my smoking experience. I didn't have to push a button on a cigarette. I didn't suck for 10+ seconds to get a giant mouthful of smoke to expel a huge cloud. I tried a manual when I started out, but it was just too awkward and I always was forgetting to push the dang button. Now that you can get sealed autos, one reason for manuals is gone. Different strokes for different folks :)

I have both autos and manuals. 2 auto 78mms and 2 manual 78mms. The I got the auto X2 that didnt go so well. Then the manual X2 that is currently blowing my mind lol. At this point the manuals get a +1

I prefer my auto 78mms, but my manual x2s. Funny how I can't get into pressing a button on the 78mms but on an X2 I prefer the button. I'm glad you got the new one and it's working out for you!

I am the same way,,but i think it is that the button on the X2 is a bigger button and easy"er to find.

I think that's it. To use a manual 78, you have to hold it with just your finger tips. The x2 is a little bigger to hold and you can press it with your thumb it index finger

Do you have a faulty batt? My first one (1100) was like that. Then it quit. The replacement - LOL! I have yet to have lung capacity to make it shut off!

So, while I'm in msg mode: The XL carto's mentioned in this thread - are you referring to the clear ones that come with the needle to fill? Just curious as it sounds like they work well with the 78's (which I love for the pocket) and have several. Shopping cart is ready to go - but wondering if I want to add a couple of these then.

Also (probably should go to dif thread) - wasn't SI juice 70/30 pg/vg back in Feb/March when I first started ordering? (ETA: The latest (boxed) says 70/20. I'm adding a lil bit of VG to the CLEARO's only.) In carto's seems like I get less vapor now.

After refilling the carto's a 2nd or 3rd time - they don't seem to be working as well now. Just wondering what changed. Right now the carto's seem to work better on the X2's.

ETA: Guess I should have finished thread to the end! Glad you got the replacement and it's working good!

The Clearo's: gosh I love them! So easy to tweak the juice! Some days just add more menthol and it's back to vapor heaven!
I have found I enjoy them more w/ a lil added vg!

Because vg drops the flavor some - and trying to lower my nicotine - I add 1 drop of Flavor Art "Flash" for TH and sometimes a tobacco flavor (which I really thot I did NOT like anymore!). Iced Menthol helps make up for lost flavor as well.

Now to get back on that newer longer wick version (Clearo) to see how many to add to the cart before "CHECKOUT"! :D

I usually use the wall plug that came w/ the PCC on the pass thru cord. I've not noticed any problems. Hope this OK!

Like Starsong - I do PREFERR the natural-ness of the auto (hence love the 78's) when I'm out and about.
Also feel the smaller 78 might catch the eye of other analog users to pique their interest when approaching a store and (giggle giggle) walking thru blowing vapor. Have an SI card in the other back pocket ready to hand out! Hence my earlier post questions regarding the vapor and poor carto performance.

In the beginning it WAS about using one that looked at close to normal ciggys - except the colors are prettier! I wouldn't have given ecigs much thot if all I saw was the bigger stuff. A "girl" thing in my case ...
