I just wanted to say that I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. I've been a long time reader but have never felt the need or want to join the forum. My first real ecig was the sideshow from Modern Vapor. I was one of those who bought an ecig from a mall vendor for over 200 dollars. It ...... me off because the device did not last as long as the salesman said it would and they were no longer around after 1 week of my purchase. Because of that experience, I decided to do more research and came across modern vapor. I decided to go with them first because of all the reviews. Then I got the 902 and eventually I got a 510. This was over a year ago. I've been going back to the analogs because of the frustrations that I had with the carts leaking, over flowing, killing auto batteries, blue foam mods, tea bag mods, no foam mods and etc... Then it was difficult to find a good blend of juice, especially since I have a little irritation to the straight PV juices. So I experimented with VG and making my own juice. My 902 batteries died because of leakage and I eventually got an ego for the battery life. But I was still having issues with the carts and finding the correct blend of juice. I eventually went back to analogs. Up until a couple of months ago, I wanted to give ecigs another chance and I so I looked into cartomizers. I didn't want purchase another kit, so I got the 510 cartomizers and I've enjoyed them a lot. They took away the frustrations that I had with the carts and atomizer. I really liked the products from Modern vapor and noticed that they carried cartomizers for the 902 and that they now have smart PCC. So I picked up the 902 again, with the smart PCC and they're great. I also picked up some LR 510 cartomizers and noticed that they were compatible with the 902. That was sweet!! The only thing I left on my to do is finding my daily juice of choice. I have some VG and loranne flavor that mix with the PG juice I get from Modern vapor. It works but I'm looking for some PG VG mix that I can vape daily. I really don't want to and don't have the time to get into mixing juice. Since I have a 2 1/2 year old boy and another one on the way. lol. I'm curious, does anyone know why you don't find much review on the modern vapor products outside of the modern vapor forum? I googled them and I looked on youtube for modern vapor product review but I was not able to find anything. I do enjoy their products and the customer service that they provided. That was the reason I finally joined this forum. And I just wanted to say that I am no way affiliated with modern vapor, just a satisfied customer. Thanks guys for listening to my story.

Hello and welcome. I have no experience with Modern Vapes so I can't tell you anything about that. What type of flavor do you seem to enjoy? I mean like a sweet? or a tobacco? or???? Do you any idea what direction you are looking to go? I have found that I really enjoy the sweet, but a change from a sweet is nice too. Anyway, Welcome to ECF glad to have ya.

My original purchase was also with Modern Vapor, 902, sidesho and LUX. I really liked them but have since moved on to 5v vaping (feels more like smoking-more vapor, too) Like you, I really have no idea why I don't see more on them, my experience with them was excellent. They are a bit pricier than some others, maybe that is why? But, IMHO, my LUX looks much nicer than the ego. *hides*

I'm usually a sweet vaper (waffle, white chocolate, butterscotch) but when I'm in the mood for a tobacco, I go to my RY4 from FSUSA.

I'm not quite sure what direction I wanted to go with. I was looking for something that still had a similar taste to analogs and I was looking for some menthol version. Nothing was quite right, so I kinda gave up on trying to get the analog tobacco taste. I like the sweet stuff but sometimes I crave for something that taste like tobacco or a menthol tobacco. There's just so many vendors and so many versions. Mysti, I think you hit it on the spot, I'm not quite sure what direction I want to go. Maybe I should be adventurous and try out the kung pao chicken or the beacon. LOL!! I can't even begin to imagine what that would taste like.

I do like the LV 510 cartomizers but I'm not sure if i want to get into the 5volt type of mods. They look a little intimidating. lol. I was thinking about a box mod but most of the time, those things are always sold out. I bought a box of 5 LV 510 cartomizors and so far only 1 of the first 3 was working. The first one had the choking smoke right away and I could not get it to work. The second one I tried out worked for a couple of puffs and then it began to have that choking smoke and I wouldn't go away. My third one has been working really good for the past 2 days and I love it. Hopefully I have better luck with my last two.

I was a Menthol smoker too. You may enjoy the RY4, it has a slight tobacco taste with a combination of sweet too. I tried it last night, while I am going to let it steep a bit longer, I really think I will enjoy that one. It came from FSUSA. I also have Wintergreen and Menthol that I mix when I am looking for that Menthol fix got those from Mad vapes. Then on a sweeter side I love Hypnoticmist FSUSA again. I am still exploring the flavors but so far I really find those to be good. I am exploring the DIY as well, so who knows what I will come up with. Little of this and a little of that. hum..... we will see. ;)

hehe I hear ya on the funky flavors, TUNA ???? umm...that scares me. ;) However, everyone has different tastes and while one seems ewwwws to me, to another it is a touch of heaven.

I would suggest trying different companies too. You may find one you like from one place but don't from another.
