Hey everyone! I want to pick up tricking and also vaping as an appetite suppresant. I have 0 knowledge of vaping or smoking so i would greatly appreciate your help! :) i also don't do nicotine.

I plan on purchasing from Lucky 8 Vapes - Richmond E-Cig Store

Can you explain it in a way so i can just walk up to the counter, show them whatyou guys say and walk out? Lol thanks!

By tricking i'm guessing you're gonna need a sub 0hm setup that makes huge clouds. I myself do not reccomend to people who never smoked to start vaping but then again who am i to judge you ?

Personally for a first setup i'd go with a smok or the new aspire speeder 200w kit
Smok has alot of bad rep all over the place because of their bad coils and longevity on those seems to be Meh
Haven't used the aspire kit i mentionned but i usually got very satisfied with aspire products. Most likely veterans will have better suggestions than i do though.

Best of luck :)

Welcome to the forum. I don't recommend anyone who isn't quitting smoking to start vaping BUT vaping is less harmful than many other things, especially tobacco smoke.

Looking for clouds go for 3 or better yet 4 battery mod. Advantage of Smok GX2/4 it can run either as 2 or 4 battery mod. Pair the GX2/4 with a TFV12 Cloud Beast King atty and ya got a serious cloud monster. Very serious. Whether your lungs could handle it is another story.

For clouds you'll also want high vg juice.

Welcome... I don't think 0 nic will do much to suppress your appetite, unless you are going for flavors of course. I suppose there are worse reasons to start vaping than tricks and bones, eventually you might join the Cirque de Soleil?

(Actually, can't think of TOO many worse reasons to start vape than tricks and bones, but to each his own).

Good luck, the only vape trick I know is being able to vape while doing Lotus Arm Balance pose, but it's frowned upon by my yoga instructor/class....

I have so many pics to post sitting in my gallery, and I need to figure out how to do it (tech luddite).... By the time I get around to it, I'll probably just shove em all on my blog or something.... I got labyrinth pics, a pic of the American Spirit Windchime, my mod stand..... I don't have a pic of that pose, but I'm sure I can get the husband to take one, (he frowns upon vaping during yoga also, so I might have to promise to make it my last time....) :)

I did show my little brother today after my guitar lesson and he said I look like Linda Hamilton in T2 (not that I'm so opposed to that), but I have GOT to get back on a solid diet FAST.

Hi and welcome. I also do not recommend never-smokers take up vaping; neither am I judgemental. I am afraid I don't do tricks-- other than making e-juice vanish-- so I haven't a really good suggestion as to the appropriate equipment. I do think a Smok mod and one of the "Beast" tanks should get you pointed in the right direction.

Well, maybe when you get infuriated by your video game you could take a walk/bike ride and find your weight loss in a way that's KNOWN to be healthier? Again, I can't stop you from vaping, and if you find it helpful, then I guess go for it. I'd agree with others that a Smok product (primarily because you want to blow clouds and it's inexpensive for that usage) might be your best bet to start with.

Have you vaped at all? Even a friend's setup? I'm just wondering what your expectations might be. Might be good to find a local B&M to get started with, they can be pretty helpful for new vapers.

Good luck with... Whatever you think vaping will help you with, though I'd agree on the fidget spinners. They can be helpful, maybe some worry beads might work as well? IDK, I just hate to recommend vaping to non-smokers, never vapers, but if you think it's for you.... Go for it, I guess?

Best of luck,

Anna

Thanks everyone for looking out for me!

This is going to sound weird but I really want to trickbecause when I play League of Legends, I get infuriated quite a bit. So I've found that vaping and tricking keeps my mind off of it...

Just me, sounds like it would be best to find hobbies that don't increase stress, frustrate, infuriate, or elevate and introduce negatives into your life.

Strenuous physical activities and lots of fresh air & sunshine is a much healthier alternative.

To me, vaping and the activities that goes with it, such as rewicking and coil building seem to calm me down.

I personally do use my vape as a "dietary aid". I don't eat too much sweets, but when I do I go to town. So when I crave an Oreo cookie, I would consume all of them in a sitting, but then I won't eat another cookie for a month. I am not a young man anymore and I can't be binging like this. So with moderation being key, I would vape when I get a craving for loads of sugar, and end up eating one or 2.

But seriously, what the OP wants is not really healthy.. But who are we do judge. I wouldn't suggest against the OP vaping, but seriously, he/she needs to get outside more and get away from gaming too much. Taking a walk outside is a very natural way to de-stress.

1) I do healthy stuff already. I'm on a diet, I go to the gym 4 days a week, I play badminton. So it's not like I'm relying solely on vaping to lose weight haha....
2) I've tried using my friends but he didn't tell me what his parts are or anything.
3) If i go to a local store, won't they just try to upsell me their most expensive ....?

Hi V,

Yes, if you go to a local vape shop they will try to upsell you. Look for one that carries a larger selection of electronics and ask to see ALL the demo equipment from small to large. You don't have to buy anything... Though it might be polite to buy a 10 ml bottle of juice or something, if you take up a lot of time. That's often what I do when seeking out something REALLY expensive, I don't necessarily want to rely JUST on online reviews/recommendations. You'll get a feel for what is out there.

Vape shops can sell you 0 nic juice.

Best of luck,

Anna

1. like we said it's not our choice you can do whatever you want with vaping we just don't think those who haven't smoked should start vaping.
2. did you vape your friend's setup more like a smoke (mtl) or more like sucking through a straw (dtl)?
3. If you're that new to vaping, yes there's a chance then again not all shops do that some will try to sell you expensive stuff because it's more reliable probably rare but i know it happens. I'd highly suggest you knowing what you want before entering a vape shop.

If you want the cheapest prices possible though, check online best prices available anywhere. I personnaly like to buy in vape shops to keep them open if i feel like i've had a great experience. Ofc if you feel like the guy is upselling you,ask him or leave i don't support vape shops that only try to make money i've made complaints myself on 2 i've tried previously, mostly because 1 had illegal activity in it and the other had just terrible customer service (really it was attrocious lol)
